New Disney's Character Warehouse Williamsburg VA?

Does anyone know when it will be opening?? It's on the web site for the outlet as coming soon, no idea when soon is. Not soon enough for this Disney addict.....oops, enthusiast. I see a road trip in the future.

According to my Prime Outlets Williamsburg emails, The Disney Store Outlet, not to be confused with Character Warehouse, is opening in Spring of 2008.

Booo- I was excited when I saw character warehouse. The Disney Store Outlets I have been to are pretty disappointing.

On the Prime Outlets store directory for Wmsbg it says "Disney's Character Warehouse - Coming Soon. Confilicting info. So Character Warehouse is better? I've never been to one, only to the regular Disney Store or the Disney Store outlet at Potomac Mills (VA). I live about 20 minutes away from Prime Outlets, so I'm excited either way.

They have it listed as both a Character Warehouse and as a Disney Store Outlet on their site. I'll be interested to see which it is. These new stores are not supposed to be opening until Spring 2008.

From what I've read, the Disney Store Outlet is run by a different group than the Disney Character Warehouse. The DSO is merchandise from the Disney Store- run by Children's Place. The DCW is stuff from Disney parks that's been retired and is no longer sold in the parks.

Am I right? I've been to a DSO but never a DCW- I was under the impression that DCW's are normally near the parks, like just outside of Disneyland or outside WDW.

I'm looking forward to it either way! And howdy neighbor I'm in Norfolk and used to work at the outlets in the burg when I was in college/grad school

The "coming soon" page has Disney Store Outlet, but the store listings page has Disney's Character Warehouse listed under both the Children and Family sections. I can't figure out how to post the link I'll drive a few hours to get to that. If I could have a Disney fix and Captain George's in one day that would be perfect
