I'm planning to apply for the Disney Visa tonight. Does anyone know the code to investigate the 7 for 4 offer for new cardmembers? and does anyone know which resorts it applies to? We're most interested in deluxe resorts.:wave

Thank you DIS for getting this to my attention. Thank you all also for teaching me that you sometimes have to call more then once to get a person who knows what they are doing. On 3rd try an awesome CM knew just what I was talking about.

I debated back and forth between the polynesian (239) and AKL (134) both standard regular views. 5 nights 5/21-5/25

Finally decide to go for the monorail!! Polynesian here we come.

I had standard view Contemporary booked for May 4-6 with no discount ($294.36 per night w/tax). I saw Mary's page and called immediately and could not get the Visa rate.. So I switched over to Polynesian GV and am so, so , so happy! At $238 it's more but I truly love it there......also my first call was a bust-she said there is no code and she even checked with her manager and that I should call back in a few days! Yeah right! Call # 2 worked! Now I WON'T be renewing my AP.
Anyone know if there is a new Visa rate for Disneyland?

Do you know what your rate would have been at the Comtemporary with the Visa code? Some people have been reporting $159 per night. Did you get quoted that before switching to the Poly GV?

Firsttimemom, you call back! My CM (an angel) told me the code "HAD been pending" but then she got an email saying she "could now book it." This was how she explained it. When I called back to make my new, discounted reservation, I told the new CM what the first had told me and it went fine. I later spoke to the opriginal CM, who told me all this evening, these codes were "all anyone was calling about!" I told her all us nuts form the internet were calling...

I got Poly garden view for $239 a night. A savings of over $100 per night. As hubby's workplace will kick in $139 a night (in Orlando for a conference), this is my golden opportunity to stay at the Polynesian!

Yay!! Thanks to info on this board, I just changed from rack rate (254/night) to Disney Visa rate (166/night) for WL 5/20-25!! woohoo!!!

This is the 3rd time I've been on the phone with CRO in the last 2 days, and they are so nice.

Thank you, everyone here...this board is valuable!! I've saved enough money betw. AP and now, the Disney Visa, that my "extra" trip I just planned for early March is paid for with the savings! yay!!!

Floridafam, the conference is the American Alliance/Educational Conference, which is basically for lawyers and adminstrators of health insurance/pension funds, etc. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it's my mom who will be actually attending the conference, not me, and I can't find the brochure about it. I wish we could get all the rooms we need though her conference since they're $275/night, but they only allow you to reserve so many per person and we still need one more for our group. It's not a huge conference, but large enough that there are no garden view rooms and no discounts on lagoon view at the GF for that time period. Would have been nice too, since we asked about a garden view for June and were quoted $279.

My friend's husband has one at WDW that week. Not sure if it is the GF or somewhere else. He is a VP at a credit union.

Typically, what makes the convention larger, is that people representing companies like credit unions, pharmaceutical plans, actuaries, etc. go to the conventions to try and get the insurance companies to join with them. Of course, since it's at Disney World this year, everyone going is bringing their families (or in our case extended family and friends) so it's probably going to be larger than normal.

I did call back and got someone who could book the code for me. Nothing available in the Contemporary tower for 5/21-22. We got Poly GV for $239 a nite.

Cm said the $159 rate for standard wing was already all taken for my dates. I don't remember the exact Visa price she quoted for a garden view but I do remember it being more than I wanted to pay. Sorry I don't have a $ for you.

I already book the Yacht Club a month ago . There weren't any rooms at the Yacht Club for this rate, so I switched over to the Boardwalk Inn (water view). I am saving $827.00!!
