New Disney visa offer

Would this new Visa rate be good for the Swan or Dolphin?
I qualify for the $139 government rate at the Dolphin which in itself is awesome, but this new rate seems to open up the possible choices greatly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My only experience is the All Star Music one year and the Dolphin early last year.
Where would you stay?

Hi. just called and the cm said she could not find any code. I have to have the code number.

The visa code is CTV , I just booked pop at 69.00 a night for 06/06/04-06/13/04. CM brigetta helped me. Hope this helps you all.

The code is avail for new and old Disney Visa cardholders. The code came out last night so some Cm's might not be used to it yet.CM-Brigetta was a great help. I had already booked my room only on my mastercard but she just applied a credit to my mastercard and put the deposit on my Visa (which is required to get the code). She was awesome. I had previously called earlier today and was told no code was avail but just hung up and called again. Code is CTV!!! I saved $210.00 on my room and just booked with SW last week flying out of Kansas City rather than Springfield and saved $500.00. That is almost what I need for food money while at disney!!!Yippee!!!

It has to be Disney Visa and you have to put one nights deposit on the Visa card when booking.

Thanks for the information.
I called back and got a different CM. She was able to book the Disney Visa room only code for me: six nights at POFQ @ $89/night w/o tax and three nights at BC @ $224/night w/o tax, for June.
Thanks, again!

You don't have to put a deposit when booking. I chose to, but the CM told me I had until March (can't remember the exact date) to put the deposit of 60.02. I told her, I'll just do it now. But again, she didn't say I had to do it now and said I had until March.

Just wanted to clarify something. The deposit does not have to be paid now but when it is paid it has to be with your Disney Visa. I had already paid mine with another credit card but they just gave me credit on that card and then charged my disney visa.

It appears that the Deluxe Resorts are discounted by $105.00 per night. I was quoted $290 for Beach Club (water view) and $425 for Lagoon View Concierge, both $105 off the standard rate.

I attempted to book for the 2nd week in May; however only thing available @ BC was the Lagoon View Concierge. So now I am going the first week of May. Hopefully AP rates will be out and I can change to the 2nd week.

I just called and got the Disney Visa Rate for POFQ for $89/night also. Plus I added a night and now we're staying for 11 nights instead of the 10 nights we first booked for less than what we would have paid for rack rates at PC. I really wanted CBR or POR but they only had king beds available for our stay and we needed the 2 doubles. At first she didn't know what I was talking about but she looked it up and found it without the code.

She just transferred our deposit to our new reservation as we originally put it on our Disney Visa.

Thanks for posting this!!

I'm so excited. I just got AKL for $134 a night for a total of $894. This is standard view. I hope this is a good rate. This is a graduation trip for my best friend and I so I hope we are getting a good rate.

Thanks for the heads up! Just saved us $1,048 on our "rack rate" reservation! Whew. . .new rate is $373.56 (GV Conc at Polynesian). We're doing the happy hula here! :hyper:

When I looked at my Disney file, a room only discount came out last year on 2/17/03. Looks as if we're tracking on schedule--just hopeful we'll get those AP rates next and I can make my last res change! No, I'm not greedy. . . ;)

I called and was quoted $184 a night for AKL standard view! She double checked it for me too.

Poly garden $239
POFQ $89
Nothing at BC or YC and only king rooms at CSR and CBR.

It must be my dates...April 22th - 26th.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I'm so glad that I checked this board today! I've been holding off making my reservations for the first week of May. I kept hoping a code would appear and it finally did!

I just booked the Polynesian garden view for $239 a night. I also got a couple of other rates in case anyone is interested: Polynesian lagoon view is $325 a night and Wilderness Lodge woods view is $149 a night. Hope that helps someone.

I'm pretty excited about this rate. I've never stayed at the Polynesian before, so we decided to try something new. Since we have 2 young children, we've heard that the Polynesian is the best. We've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge before and loved it and I'm hoping we like the Poly just as much!

Now I just have to wait for my card to get here. I know I was approved and they said the card should be here in 5-7 business days.
Can I just book a room only reservation on my regular CC then change everything to the disney visa deal once I get my card?

Stacey

We just changed our AKL concierge reservation for June 17-20 for a new rate of $418.13/night including tax (it was $535.20/night rack rate, down to $481.68/night with the AAA rate). We also booked a night at Pop Century (May 19) for $77 including tax. emersonsmom, when are you going to ASMo for the rate of $60.02? I'll switch the PC reservation to ASMo if I can get that rate.

I would think that you would be able to book your room now since you were approved. You don't have to pay the deposit now. You have 10 days before the it's due, so by then you should have your credit card. It's worth a try. I would call or you run the risk of not getting what you want.
