New Disney Ships: News, Rumors, Speculation.....and Names!

I clicked on the link they emailed, but it just has the welcome screen with Simba and the ship, but nothing else. Ideas?

Having sailed on the crossing, here is my take. Last year I mentioned after the crossing that the grand hall was cardboard looking, reminding me of IASW cutouts above the stage area, to me on the Treasure. The Destiny I felt was much classier and refined.

I think the Skipper Lounge is by far better than the Sanctum. It felt more comfortable and casual where the Sanctum felt more pretentious. Cask and Cannon was well put together. Having an extra food option there was nice as well.

De’vil’s is nice for a piano bar.

Prideland’s entertainment far outshines coco’s but the coco restaurant, to me, looked nicer overall.

Although I knew going in that the ships in the class would be pretty cookie cutter, it was still disappointing. Since for the most
Part the same itineraries are over and over again, the ship is the attraction. But it really felt to be the same old thing. Would like to have seen some creativity changing up Marceline’s, Marvel and 1923 as well as the pool deck food options.

The stateroom and common area bathrooms reeked from day one. Hopefully they have gotten this under control.

Other travelers onboard commented like I did, we have no desire to pay to sail on the Destiny.

What is the show in World’s of Marvel?

We saw the Groot one that is also on the Treasure all 5 times we dined there 🤪. Hopefully a new one will be introduced.

Given that the Destiny is almost exclusively doing shorter than 7 day itineraries (there may be 1 or 2 outlier sailings, I believe), it's unlikely, since you will probably only see the show once during any sailing.

First of all, I’m sorry you ended up during there with the same show all 5 times, I cannot believe they actually played the show each time….but this is amazing news for my family, which has sailed Wish 3x and Treasure 0x, and we are huge Cosmic Rewind fans, plus one of my kids is a Groot super fan. Not going to tell them yet just in case something changes, but this is a good sign.

Disney previously announced that the Worlds of Marvel entertainment would be the Groot offering that originated on the Treasure
