Had to call
DCL this morning to ask a few questions. (long story short my emails from Disney go to my dad, and Disney cant seem to fix it. If it wasnt for my son, and social media, I would know next to nothing.)
2 of the more relevant questions, were what was the itin, and is Disney planning on doing some inventory control, so every one gets a fair shot at booking, since at least in theory, platinums and golds could book the ship.
The answer to the first is that its a standard 4 night cruise,(Nassau, CC sea day) with 1 extra day at sea., for 5 nights. Would have loved a double dip or a CC LHP.
The 2nd one was a little more complicated in answering. in that DCL has not fully decided yet how many passengers my or may not be allowed to book. Its a wait and see situation. From what the agent told me, she does believe that DCL has a plan in place, so that every one will have a chance to book. The question is, is how much virus precautions will play a factor into the sailing. Which to be honest is something I had not thought of. Take it with a grain of salt, considering the source, but it potentially could be a possibility that the ship will initially do a 50% booking and then go to 100% at a later date, stay at 50% or a full booking. Those are the 3 options that I could potentially see happening, on the assumption that she was correct. Not calling it a rumor or fact at this point, but it is something to keep in mind.
