...I posted a couple of videos, downloaded from photobucket, too, but they are very grainy!! :confused3 I guess when I shot them from my digital camera, I must have used the wrong 'pixels' or 'speed' or SOMETHING, because when it was enlarged, you can see all those 'squares'.... :guilty:

I remember reading on the DIS somewhere that the tree has sneakers in it because it's a tradition for the boat drivers to throw a pair of shoes in it when they retire. Is that right?

Where did you think sneakers came from? :-)

i hope the sneakers in the tree don't mean the same thing at WDW that it does here in my part of florida. :3dglasses

All right, all right...I'll buy the retirement sneaker theory, but since employees seem to love urban legends who knows what the deal really is. :)

Perhaps it's a trophy tree left over from the bird island that they no longer take care of. Maybe it's like how people mount antlers on their wall--maybe the tree belongs to a huge albatross(or odd type vulture) as a warning to all who pass  :faint: .

The only snakers up here are the ones on the telephone wires and I'm not so sure about those either. :teeth:

A rainy day view from our Contemporary South garden wing room this July (we liked to wave at the people on the boats to WL and FW) :sunny:
