@PolyRob I too used all my $25 coupons this week and keep everything seperate, I purchase my GC at cutomer service usually 2-4 at a time using multiple Price Plus cards also, depending on who is working & their moods, and if anyone is in line behind me.

I think I will stop at two DGC this week for the $15 coupon.

I should probably activate at customer service too! Much easier to fix that way if the offer doesn't trigger.

DGCs are still counting towards turkey spend at ShopRite. The $15 promo registered too. Not as good as the typical 20% or elevated 25%, but I need it for DVC dues and I used a 4x grocery card so 19% isn't bad at all.

Agreed, I've accumulated more in the past few weeks at ShopRite than the entire year combined with $50 DGC offers. It's so easy to get the register with $100+ orders and considering we're in this thread I know we're shopping the sales and clipping digital coupons to maximize all the savings

I think I will keep two turkeys and donate the rest.

The p1 and p2 digital coupons are a game changer for stocking up! The biggest struggle is logging out of and back into the other account on the app
Heck everything else including DVC is gamefied why not ShopRite!

For those of us in the Northeast again, Shoprite has $20 off your next shopping purchase when you purchase $100 in any gift card (excluding the usual Visa, Mastercard, and shopRite) next week (or starting tomorrow in Maryland).

Also note that in Maryland, you only need to spend $350 to get the free turkey - in NY and NJ, it is $400. As of now, the gift cards are counting towards the free turkey.

I know Rakuten tracks GCs.com. There is technically a 2k limit per month there for CB.

Wow....have I ever been sucked into a vortex!

I know the company is legit.

When I placed an order for 1000 bucks (900 net) my CC flagged it as possible fraud.

I got the CC company to clear the hold and they told me to try again.

Because I failed to close the order tab page.....I reused it and just hit "purchase" again.........now the website said the card had declined the charge......so I closed the tab and tried one more time.....this time the Payment block was blank.....no payment options showed up.....I think that they flagged me as being a scammer and do not want to deal with me for a while.

One lesson from this......maybe call the CC company in advance...,mine is very picky about gift card purchases

Second lesson.....if an order gets declined....close out the page and start fresh to reduce the chance of an additional decline.

They are CA so I will wait a few hours and call them....I just tried and they are closed at 8am eastern time.

PS- I did not set up an account with them....I was just purchasing as a guest.

Oooh, thanks for the heads up! I found the chase offer on one of my cards.

Does anyone know how long the giftcards.com Early Bird 10% off lasts? I can't seem to find it on their website. Is this the best offer they typically have, or should I try to wait until black friday? I've never purchased from this retailer before.

I'll just add a data point as to why I won't do a giftcards.com deal again unless I'm willing to go to the full $2,000 and have it shipped with USPS tacking (which, as I recall costs about $8.99 - if you do it for any less than $2,000, pretty much eats up the cash back yo'd earn). I did a $500 DGC from them back in July and had it shipped regular mail. It showed up in my daily USPS e-mail of scanned mail as that it was supposed to be delivered maybe about 5 days after shipping, but it never showed up. I called giftcards.com, and they wouldn't do anything about it until 10 days had passed. I tried to explain to a rep that it should have showed up and I'm afraid it got stolen - they just wouldn't do anything until day 10. Called on day 10, they opened a ticket. Waited another week, called again, ticket was still processing. Sent an outraged e-mail and finally got a refund for the $500 about 1 day later. On one hand, I'm glad they stood behind it, but incredibly nerve racking and I'm not interested in that again. Just not worth it.

I really wish they did digital DGCs. Until then, I'll be hard pressed to order from them again. YMMV.

Nice, and I apparently had GC.com points that could be applied to the order, which took a bit of the sting off the shipping fee. The 5% back on my Chase Hyatt card on top of the shopping portal made this a pretty decent deal for the last $1K of DVC dues money I needed!

Mine have a rarely enforced policy that, if you use a credit card, you have to be able to show ID that matches. They will not accept the fact that you're running as debit and know the pin, has to be a name printed card, if you get a person who's following the policy.

So, sometimes they don't ask me and I use a 5% VGC. But, I always have my 3% AmEx on hand in case they do ask for ID, in which case I just split the DGC off onto that transaction.
