@bbsearchlight Interesting. I bought one tonight and used it for partial online pmt of my electric bill with no issue. I never buy "cash" type GCs unless they are fee free and I have a committed place I know I would already use them in their entirety because I find it too laborious to use up little chunks here and there. I did an initial $300 purchase to confirm that the cashback credit transacts - but if all goes properly, I'll buy 3 additional to pay off electric bills over the next couple months as well.

Yeah, Amex gc's are known for being hard to spend. Testing was wise!

Guess I'll have to get my butt over to Shoprite as soon as I get home from vacation. Trip is 11/2-11/8 so virtually no wiggle room there.

Need some help making sure my thinking is correct.

BoA Customized Cash card gives me 3% back with online shopping category chosen, plus an extra 3% for my first year for a total of 6%. Purchasing Sam's Club Disney cards won't trigger online shopping (I believe... please correct me if I'm wrong), but warehouse, but if I purchase Walmart gift cards from Walmart.com, that will trigger my 6% back for online shopping. Then, I can use those gift cards to purchase the Disney gift cards on Sam's website.

Please tell me if I'm incorrect. I'm not wanting to mess this up. If my math is mathing, with the $200 statement credit from spending X amount in the first few months, I can get $800 of gift cards for $476. If I can just purchase on Sam's website and it work instead, that would be much easier.

Thanks for the heads-up! Since a Lidl opened near us, I've not been checking the ShopRite flyers as regularly as I used to and may have missed this if you hadn't posted.

I only ask because when I have had SAM'S gift cards in the past, which also work at Walmart, I could not apply them to DGC or other gift card purchases at Sam's. But maybe others have had different experiences?

You used to be able to use WM gift cards at Sam's for DGC, but not any more.

Yes. It was back in August. I did multiple purchases (doing the buy 3 then buy 1) to reach the total $2500. Had to buy some APs.

4 I believe. But sometimes if you do orders of 3 and then 1 you can order more. But it’s ymmv.
