NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Helped another player yesterday with this, so easy. DGCs counted to finish off the free 360 offer. Free 360 was available as soon as the DGC was sent. $500/$50 offer showed immediately after activating the 360 membership. $50 rewards posted as soon as the $500 DGC was sent.
Thanks! My cell phone is AT&T prepaid and I always pay with gift cards. I'm not charged taxes when my account has a balance so I make sure I have enough money in my account before the charge goes through. Target has AT&T gift cards at buy one get a second 10% off, so I bought $207 worth of gift cards to cover (along with what I already have) 4 months of cell phone coverage.

I'll report back if/when I get the $50/$500 bonus which I will use on DGCs.

Just be aware that you can buy $500 of DGC and get the $50 bonus but then you can't apply that bonus to buy $50 more DGC.

So I just received a $10 certificate from Best Buy via email. Does anyone know if I can apply this to a gift card purchase? It doesn't list any terms on the email and e complete terms of the program are referenced but not linked. I may just try it and see if it works.

Update - Here are the T&C's when I found the certificate in my account

Terms & Conditions: Limited time only. Reward is redeemable in any U.S. Best Buy retail location or online at BestBuy.com. Once redeemed, the reward is no longer valid. It will not be replaced as a result of a refund or exchange. Transaction subtotal must be greater or equal to the reward value. Otherwise good toward the purchase of any eligible product or service. Not redeemable for gift card purchases and certain products and services. Not redeemable for cash. No rainchecks. Not valid on prior purchases or as payment on your Best Buy credit card. This reward is valid until midnight (CT) on the expiration date shown above. By using this reward, you agree to the terms and conditions of the program, which can be found at BestBuy.com/MyBestBuy.

So I guess officially not.

When I tried to checkout, it didn't show the certificate. Not sure if that is an issue with the checkout, operator error or because it doesn't apply.

I would be curious if anyone has ever been able to use one for a gift card.
I used mine to help pay for Best Buy Plus.

Just reporting back.

I bought $230 worth of AT&T cards for $207.57 which activated the free Target 360 membership.

I then bought $500 worth of DGCs (all at once, one card) for $475 that satisfied the $500 spend and the $50 is already in my account.

So, I spend $682.57 for $730 worth of gift cards and received $50 back for a full savings of $97.43 which is approximately a 14% savings. Not bad!

There is a Target Circle Bonus for $20 off of $90 of toy and tech items which is highly targeted. (I only had the offer on 1 of my 4 family accounts.) However, the offer is working on prepaid phone cards, so I was able to purchase $90 worth of ATT prepaid phone cards for $66.50 after the $20 off and the redcard discount, or a savings of 26%.

I regularly purchase DGC at Food Lion with Chase and with Amex offers. Those offers always work.

But iff you have a Food Lion offer of save X when you spend Y in your FL account, the offer will may not work with any gift cards. I've had it work once.
Thanks! Specifically talking about The chase offers so that is good to know! I don't regularly shop at FL but I noticed it show up in there for 7% so I might as well buy some DGC.

FYI, the $500 Disney gift cards are back to $479.99. The extra $5 off isn’t showing anymore.
I’m not currently a member. Is it $479.99 for ecards and physical? Or only physical?

Tempted to do the Sam’s Club $15 membership to grab a few cards. (And only the cards since I can’t use Sam’s otherwise)

At BJ’s.. Physical. If you order online, they mail you the physical cards, takes about a week. Sams has some email cards ($200 for $190) & some physical that will be mailed. ($500 for $484.98). Sam’s has a limit of how many of each denomination you can order for a period of time.

I believe @focusondisney meant the extra savings were gone from BJ’s.

I am still seeing Sam’s $500 value being sold for $484.98.

Just noting that isn't a very good deal - you can get $500 worth of gift cards (physical or digital) at Target every day for $475 with a Target RedCard (which is free and isn't very difficult to get).

On the surface I would certainly agree. However most people have a CC that will earn a minimum of 1.5% back putting this deal ahead of Target ever so slightly at 5.44%.

My math might be wrong but I believe I did it correctly.
Value of card is $500 being sold for $479.99.
1.5% of $479.99 = $7.20
Total Savings ($20.01 + $7.20) / Value of Card ($500) = 5.44%

Of course if you can pick up a V/MC from staples/OD/OM with your 5% CIC card and redeem it is even better.

I still say Target is the absolute easiest savings you will obtain it is just not always the best. When the Target Circle offers are going on that certainly changes things though.

Very good point. Of course, if you have to pay for the membership just to get the cards (and you aren't otherwise going to use the membership), I'd factor that in too, which could still make it worth it if you buy enough. And also agreed that there are much better deals to be had than either of these.

Good Point. Hopefully someone isn't joining just to get deals on gift cards as it usually doesn't make sense to do so since there are often limits put in place, at least with Sam's Club.
