NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Their DGC deals have not been as frequent as they used to be, pretty sure it's been months since we last saw one.

Thanks. When my husband’s membership came up for renewal a few months ago, we decided we didn’t use it enough to justify the cost. I never paid attention to if I got the discount because we had the membership or if it was available to anyone.

The last one did require the discount but there have been a few times that didn’t. In those cases I was able to use a business account along with personal to pick up a few more

Just wanted to follow up. I called and had the deposit for my Swan reservation on my original non-offer card reversed and booked the entire amount on the card that had the Autograph offer. The charge went through with an 8/12 transaction date and 8/14 posted date. Offer expired on 8/15. Got an email on 8/17 saying the offer was redeemed 8/16. I'll confirm when actually posted, but looks like Swan is still triggering Autograph Chase offers.
Can also confirm Swan registering as Autograph Collection, though I know this is more for future reference if the offers circle back around. I had all three potential offers on my Freedom Unlimited: Marriott, Autograph, and Westin. Figured it was worth using that card and at least one of them should trigger. What's really interesting: the merchant type listed on the actual transaction is Westin. With the Westin and Autograph offers being equal, I'm just rolling with it.

As a related note, my Amex had a simultaneous spend $250 at Marriott, get a $50 credit. So I did make sure to split my payments, and the Amex had no problem recognizing Swan as Marriott. Definitely wasn't mad to score a stellar Swan discounted rate, and then the credits basically got me a Pop Century final price.

<<What's really interesting: the merchant type listed on the actual transaction is Westin. >> @wilckepedia

Same on my transactions. I sent screenshots showing Westin as the merchant on my first transaction and Chase still denied it as not qualifying for the Westin offer 🤷‍♀️. So, yep, going forward as if this is a feature not a bug for now!

<<< Swan has always been Westin while the Dolphin has been Sheraton. I believe the Reserve is Autograph but not >> @eticketplease Yes, this is how it should be working! Seems to be a back end glitch confusing Swan with Reserve on the Chase side. Question is, is Reserve still triggering Autograph, or is it switched too?

I have a Capital One Venture card and recently used it to pay for a bunch of WDW reservations for our upcoming trip. I reserved a Beachcomber Shack at Typhoon Lagoon, booked three people for Sangria University, reserved a fireworks cruise and a fishing trip. I was surprised that all of these purchases were coded as "dining". I have over $900 in rewards to use on our upcoming trip and I am wondering how I can get my purchases to code as "lodging". If I charge everything to the room and then have the front desk charge the credit card, should that trigger the "lodging" code?

I would not expect any of the booked stuff to code as travel, although the dining code instead of entertainment or experiences is interesting. I would expect the hotel charge to work. The hotel does not pass on what you bought, they charge it all as lodging. Unfortunately I don’t have a Cap1 specific DP for WDW. Did you ask in the cc thread?

I'm surprised as much as @gottalovepluto as well. I figured it would have been entertainment like the tickets which is why I would have used a Savor card for the entertainment at 3% but also gets 3% on dining.

If it is charged to the room it definitely codes as travel which then you can do the travel eraser to wipe off as much of the charges as you have points for and use discounted disney gift cards to pay the rest.

All of these activities unfortunately require prepayment so I'm not sure if Disney can somehow charge it to your room once you check in.

I received this one as well and was just about to post the details when I saw that you had already done so - and far more eloquently.

My only issue with the offer is that it is valid for in-store purchases only and excludes online purchases. But I am still grateful since it’s been a while since I’ve received a BJ’s buy more/get more offer of any sort.

No BJs coupon for me. :( Did anyone get do the $10 reward for sports drinks last week (spend $30). I thought it was supposed to post today but nothing. It's gone from the website to check the dates.

I did it as well BJ's rewards seem to always post on Tuesdays for some reason.

Thank you! Will check tomorrow.

If anyone is needing Landry's gift cards, I grabbed a few for Yak and Yeti on BJs. $19.99 for $25. I'm not sure if they go on sale further, but 20% is pretty good.
