They must really be hurting for business... Annoying that it's in the middle of a shop 4 times on $130 to earn $50 when I have to wait days between each purchase for my Target Circle Card to work - even though I'm not at my spending limit. Too bad they don't count to double dip!!!

Using a Target debit/credit card on Target branded gift cards is the worst card you can use, it earns 0% on those purchases.

Yeah. I purchased a GC online this morning using my Citi double cash (2% is better than nothing). Then went to a store and price matched AirTags for 79.99 and added a can of pumpkin to get over $80. Got the $10 for GC purchase and credit for my spend $80 x 4 offer from the in store purchase.

Do you not get the 5%? I've also sometimes had luck with shopping portals though YMMV.

I'm so nervous they'll deduct anything paid with a GC from the qualifying purchase amount based on the T&C "Purchases made with a credit or debit Circle Card are eligible for these (Target Circle Bonus) offers. " Although the chatbot said you could use gift cards, I don't know that I trust that they mean they won't subtract that amount from the qualifying purchase.

Yep. It was the fourth purchase I needed for the $30 and the $30 is in my account now.

So we now have a dollar general close to us. I see they have a buy two gift cards get $6 off thing this week. Do they carry Disney cards? Anything else I should know?

This is not a deal I’m taking advantage of. I still have nearly $500 from a Target Gift Card deal in November and $75 in bonus cash. I’m really not shopping there much anymore except for DGCs and AT&T prepay cards, so I’m not spending what I already have.

Yes they carry DGC's. I buy them there all the time whenever Chase or CashApp offers come up.

Looks like you can buy two $25 GCs for $44, giving 12% off. Pretty good deal I would say so!

Edit: I looked at my local DG ad this week and didn't see any deal like that, so must be a targeted thing!

Also, a lot of Dollar General stores only accept cash for gift cards.

Not a big surprise. All the Dollar General stores I have been in are dirty and trashy. It's like they sell discount merch so they don't need to take pride in their own stores. Dollar Stores (now $1.25) are usually the same. Five Below stores are better but I've only been in one and wasn't interested in anything they were selling.

Yeah. They had a sign on some 2 liter sodas that said3 for $4
And the. 3 for 3 after coupon. Rang up $6. Told me it was either the sale price or the coupon. Which… no.

then walked off with my phone when I was showing I had the coupon loaded.

Well. The sign is for next weekend. So my bad. But they didn’t even notice that. Just kept telling me I can’t use coupons with a sale item. First and last time in the store.
