I have been using RMN for a long time. For the first time, yesterday I bought some Disney ecards online at Target and they are showing as ineligible under RMN. Looks like RMN is no longer a viable option. YMMV.

That stinks. I made purchases of Disney GC's from Target as recently as 10/6 and they show as pending. I was generally pretty happy getting 5% for using Red Card plus 2% RMN and as a bonus the Target Circle rewards of like $10 on $100 purchase.

Well this REALLY stinks! Target 10% Off for Veterans, military members & family has a new caveat, in order to get the 10% discount you have to join Circle 360. Seriously?!

How about this Target - NO THANK YOU!

There was a peep who posted they regretted signing up for Circle 360 because the wording changed on how they could use their Circle Offers and REWARD Offers. It was not a positive change.

Granted, Target might give, dare I say better offers for Circle 360 members but why make an offer to our vets with this caveat. This isn't a sincere Thank You to our service members, it's a push for a subscription.
How disgusting! Shame on you Target and the fool who thought this was a solid idea.

And no, you cannot use this 10% offer to save on ANY gift card, nor can you use the $50 Target Circle Rewards you'll get for signing up on any gift card.

I also think this is just an extra offer if you want to sign up for circle 360. This is the terms at the bottom of the military offer, which doesn’t sounds like you need to sign up for anything.

That's how I saw it at first but now, not so much. We'll see what happens tomorrow. To all the vets, hang tight and we'll see how this unfolds. There's nothing wrong with adding caution.

Some peeps were talking about their frustration with certain stores. I get it. I stopped shopping at Kohl's years ago due to their weird pricing, discount and reward system. Macy's made my no fly zone due to the craziness that occurred on May 25, 2024. Even before that I didn't like doing business with them. I would place online orders and when I went to pick them up the cashiers tried to scan my driver's license in their system. No. That's not happening.

I'm not into conspiracy theories. Big brother nonsense. Macy's does not need to upload my personal information into their software. No business ought be doing that. You should be able to simply show them your ID as proof of your identity and that's it.

I will say, I love Target. They are a great company who help many Charites, stores are clean and kept orderly.
Employees are kind and hard working people.
This latest 10% offer, hmm. I'll be keeping my eye on that. And if I'm wrong, I have no issue whatsoever in admitting it. No one here will need to say, I told you so. But, hey, if you feel the need be my guest!

Totally agree. I don't feel like it's so much of a "customer service" issue. It's just these giant corporate rules, stipulations, electronic systems. And these cannot be overridden when an employee says "That doesn't make sense. Here, let me just fix this for you." Nope. Can't do that. "The system won't let me" is something I hear all the time.

I cannot wait for the election to be over. This isn’t a political rant, it’s about the people posing as supporters.

Last week a man placed a political hangtag on my front door. As soon as he approached the walkway leading to the porch my pups went vocal. He hesitated then placed the tag and left but not to the house next door. No, I saw him walking in the middle of the road until I couldn’t see him anymore. Did you get that? He’s not going door to door, he just went to my door. Think I’m paranoid, I went through Neighborhood Chat, posted his photo and asked if anyone got a hangtag from him. Not a single person responded they received a hangtag nor do they have him on their security so I reported it.

Today another stranger approached but the pups were outside. He banged on the glass sidelite, rang the doorbell repeatedly then banged on the glass sidelite again. Are you kidding me! Trick or Treaters don’t even go that far, they just ring the doorbell once like a normal person. I brought the pups inside then went to the front and opened the door. I asked the guy if he needed help and he yells out A Topic. I don’t know why he was so loud. When I voiced my position, he had the nerve to put his finger to his lip as in ”Shh, I’m talking” well that did not go over with me at all. That’s like telling me to calm down. Who does this bozo think he is shhing me and telling me what I can’t do with my own body? Are these people out of their minds?

We sold the Generac to our neighbor, the retired firefighter. They’re installing it now and the pups are very vocal which is putting me on edge. It’s jolting but I’m glad to have them.

I have ‘No soliciting’ right on my doorbell. If anyone rings it, I open the door, look pointedly at said ‘no soliciting’ sign and then close the door. I do not engage. They always leave. Probably helps that I always open the door with a scowl on my face.
