Welcome to the club! I'm sure you got there a lot faster than I did!
I just checked the Sams Club mailer and the SWA gift card offer is from Oct 30 - Dec 1 2024. The Disney deal is a “Door Buster” whereas the SWA deal called Instant Savings” deal.View attachment 906236
Can you confirm the sale date for this offer. I'm seeing conflicting dates online and once again, I didn't get the booklet.
This is what I have on Post #2, is this not correct?
Thanks again!

I haven’t the patience to deal with it and applaud those of you who persevere. What is the deal with Target lately?
Yeah, I'm about done with them too. I stopped shopping at Kohl's once I got tired of being jerked around and Target is next on the list to go.I haven’t the patience to deal with it and applaud those of you who persevere.
Just give me the blessed straight off the top amt and I’m done. Too much yapping with people I don’t want to talk to in the first place, lol.
Thanks, my husband Ubers often for work so I love it when we can buy discounted cards but get reimbursed full price!
I've had a similar experience with pick up orders and out of stock/substituted items when paying with a target gift card. They deducted the out of stock items and then charged my credit card for the substitutions instead of the gift card I used for the order. When I contacted them they said that's their policy. Frustrating.Just need to share more Target frustration. As I mentioned recently I bought $300 DGC and received a $30 bonus. Today I went to use that bonus and ordered some boxers for DH. I ordered two packages of the same exact thing and ordered for pickup. My total after the $30 bonus was $7.60. I received notification that my order was ready but they had to substitute one item (same exact thing but one set was a different color than I ordered) AND they charged me an additonal $14.40 even though the item was the exact same price as the original purchase. I called customer service and they kept saying that I was charged correctly. I could see on my end when they made the substitution, they somehow refunded back $15 of my $30 reward and then charged me the $14.40...I finally got the customer service person to understand what happened and asked to have them apply the $15 reward back to my purchase and refund the additional $14.40 they charged but she said they couldn't do that...it makes zero sense. She said not to worry, I still had $15 in rewards I could use towards a future purchase. I explained that I didn't want to make a future purchase I wanted the full $30 to apply to this one, as it had when I ordered it. She said she couldn't fix it so I canceled the entire order, got my $30 reward reinstated and just tried ordering again but this time ordered the color they substituted last time and again paid $7.60 after my $30 reward. We'll see what happens when the order is processed. What is the deal with Target lately?
When it comes to Target, when you have discounts, do not allow for any substitutions. The substitutions will not have the discount. Allowing them to ship the exact same item if it is out of stock at a store is okay though.Just need to share more Target frustration. Interesting. That's actually what I ended up doing. After canceling the original order, I re-ordered what they supposedly had in stock but apparently they hadn't put my original order back into circulation, so one of the items was "out of stock" and I opted to have them mail it to me. There was no additonal charge so I got the original order for the $7.60.When it comes to Target, when you have discounts, do not allow for any substitutions. I have used the fact that they apply discounts across all items to my advantage though. I had a $15 off $90 purchase. I only needed $40 of items. Put a random $50 item in so the discount applied. Ordered and then immediately canceled the $50 item. Kept the portion of the discount across the $40 in items.
I believe its usually the first Saturday in December.Yes, Target occasionally gets frustrating for me also but I'm diligently watching to see if/when they have that wonderful 10% discount on (only) Target cards.
Can't remember exactly when they've had it the past several years. I'm thinking first week in Dec???
Though I keep remembering an OCT sale.
If anyone knows or hears anything, I'd love to know.
