Finally a winner of an offer on AMEX. Found this on the Platinum this morning. Seems Amex stepping up their offer game a bit. Nobody needs 20 offers for 50 dollars off 250 of wine.

Just wanted to mention, if you can get a Viator 15% code to generate for you, it will work still for discounts on Disney tickets. Might be worth creating a new email address for example with Google or Yahoo.

Yeah I'm unsure why it isn't working, you can probably try to find another Viator 15% off link on reddit and see if that works. I did receive emails with codes eventually at some of the emails I tried.

Always has before. However, I would only do it once to test it since it's a 2x offer.

I think you're looking at the wrong weekly ad. The offers in your post expires 9/28/24.

The offers I posted are valid 9/29/24 – 10/05/24.

Lowe's Amex Offer - I don't understand, why wouldn't it work on gc's in-store? Just last week DH and I had a Kroger Amex offer and it worked when we bought in-store. I don't think there's ever been a report/DP when it didn't work since: 2015 <yes, this is a link.

I assume it should work. I bought mine yesterday. Didn’t get an email confirmation that I used the offer, but I don’t always get those anyway.

In not so related news I found out my husband somehow has $181 Disney rewards dollars on his chase rewards card. His response - is that good? I really need access to all his accounts to watch this stuff.

My DH has long relinquished his logins to me. If he happens to be the one buying something, he just asks "what card do I use" and that's the extent of his involvement, lol.

Mine wouldn’t want to do that. He wants one card so he doesn’t have to think. It’s why I asked in the credit card thread what to get him for his work travel charges. It became pretty obvious that his job ‘that wouldn’t have much travel’ in fact had quite a bit more than what we were used to. And since he was putting all of it on a personal card to get reimbursed, he definitely needed a travel based to card to get more bang for all these charges.

Same here. We're churners, so when we get a new card, I add it to his apple and google wallets, and PayPal. He knows to use those and nothing else.

I was told here that Amex has some sort of clause that gift cards don’t earn rewards and they have taken back rewards/CB from people for purchasing GC. This was in response to my 6% back at grocery stores. So maybe these special offers were never included I dont know, But this is where my comment stemmed from.
