I just recently called WDW to see if I could convert my current reservation with the new codes and the CM asked if I had booked on-line and I said yes and she said that she didn't know if I would be able to but went ahead and did convert my package.
Well my dad called yesterday to have his reservation converted and they gave him a hard time since he had also booked on-line from the official WDW website also. And after talking with a CM he was put on hold for 17 min. before they finally relented and converted his package. There was room availability at CSR so that wasn't the problem. But they only did this after he told them that his daughter(me) had just called a few days earlier and even though I had booked on-line they had converted me.
I was wondering what's the big deal if you book on-line vs. other methods.
I thought companies encourage on-line bookings.
Anybody understand this. I would be happy to hear from you.
