New dining options?

So there's no more word about DVC members being able to buy the dining option? I think it will me lumped in with the MYM park tickets, which is too bad, I'm a PAP holder. If I'd known that this was coming out I might not have gotten the PAP! As a DVC owner and PAP holder I have essentially promised that I will be going back to Disney LOTS of times not only in the next year, but in the next 50 years - so why can't I get the meal plan as well?

It's interesting how these things evolve, let's see what happens.

But you do have that $125 discount on the PAP and the ability to purchase the DDE, which was only available to FL Residents prior to this year.

With the limited selection of EPCOT restaurants on the dining plan, as well as having to eat a HUGE full service meal to make the MYW plan worth it, it isn't something I'd use anyway.

A dining plan would be great for us. Every time I have travelled to WDW, and when my DH and I went 2 years ago, I've had some form of a meal plan. I love the "all-inclusive" aspect, so we aren't worried about meals and money the entire time. It is, of course, just the two of us. I don't believe we will be spending much time fixing our own meals; even if we stay in a one-bedroom. If I had a family it might be a different story.

Does anyone know how certain this plan is or how soon it will become available?
