New date -- The Wave

Morning all-
I called this morning to try and get ressies for dinner at THE WAVE that will be opening in the Concourse Steakhouse area in CR. I had read that it was opening on May 30th and yesterday in fact CRO WAS taking ressies.

Anyway, my trip is 5/31 - 6/5 so I thought our final meal of the trip might be nice to be at someplace new. I called back today and she said that ressies start on JUNE 30th for it's opening.

Anyone have a non-theme park dining recommendation. We like traditional food. I have actually like Trails' End and don't want to do a dinner show.

Any suggestions?

How about Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club? It has a rather traditional menu and is quite pleasant.

Thanks! I might make a reservation for our August trip . I was looking for another restaurant ... although dinner sounds like every other WDW restaurant.

Somone also sugggested taking the Boat to the MK and then the monorail over to GF and doing lunch over by the pool.

The rumor is that The Wave is opening on June 1 for walk-in's only - so you still might be able to eat there. You can make ADR's now for seatings on June 30 and beyond.

Well if they are opening on June 1st for walk-in's only, that must be true if they are only accepting ADR's starting on June 30.
