New Character Breakfast coming to the Boardwalk

Tomorrow could be the day for reservations. Breakfast reportedly starts April 2!

Although I should add it doesn't say anything about a character meal...atleast that I could find.

Got reservations for my trip! Had to do a party of 10 and 6 instead of 16 though. Can't wait for more details!

Did you call or book online? I cannot find this anywhere online and the wait over the phone is 30+ minutes. Any suggestions?

I booked online this morning, but now it seems they've removed breakfast from online reservation options!

I hope my reservations are safe. I see them on the MDE app

I talked to someone who was also not able to make reservations for my dates - April 2-4. She said that they pulled the reservation option to make some adjustments but to keep trying.

Online it now says they will begin taking reservations for April 2nd and after beginning March 1st. There is a breakfast option showing up now, but just no availability to book it.

I was able to get a reservation for April 4th! It was a bit glitchy - had to try a few times but got it.

Saw a couple people mention that on the Disney food blog and they just stated that all breakfast after April 2 is Character. I'm the same, so here's hoping.

Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast starts April 2nd

This is just my theory, but I think Disney was trying to find a way to add a character dining experience to the Boardwalk area, and that Rapunzel was long overdue to be included in the character dining lineup (I still haven't forgiven Disney for giving Tangled a restroom area instead of a ride or attraction!). In my opinion it's never a bad idea to add another character dining option because they're just so popular and fill up so quickly- despite the smaller restaurant size, this new addition to the character dining lineup is going to make so many kids (and diehard Rapunzel fans such as myself!) so happy. It's also nice to get a little more foot traffic over to the Boardwalk area- we stayed at the Boardwalk Villas this past November and were surprised to see that for such a lovely resort, it was surprisingly empty. We were treated so kindly there, it's a really great Disney location that more people need to get over to, and this latest character dining addition will really help.

Had a hard time booking over the phone and online but was able to book through my Disney experience. Has anyone booked through the app before? Because of what happened with online and calling getting errors (with more than just myself) I'm a little wary that seeing this go through is too good to be true

Sorry for double posting but I got an email confirming my reservation, so I guess that's a good sign that I got it
