Does anyone have the loop names that correspond to the cabins 2200-2800? I know they changed them at some point so google is no help, it only shows the original names. We're fairly certain that 2500 is Mallard something or other, and there's one with Wolf, but that's all we can come up with.

Loop 2200: White Tail Way (formerly Arrowhead Way)
Loop 2300: Otter Creek (formerly Shawnee Bend)
Loop 2400: Dragonfly Meadow (formerly Settler’s Bend)
Loop 2500: Mallard Trail (formerly Cedar Circle)
Loop 2600: Red Wolf Run (formerly Moccasin Trail)
Loop 2700: Heron Hollow (name didn’t change)
Loop 2800: Black Bear Ridge (formerly Willow Way)

Speaking strictly for myself, @jolynne28 ,the NAMES of the loops is not important once the number of loops went from the original 6 FW loops to now 28 (of which the 2200-2800 are time share loops). Can you tell me why you think they are? I really would like to know.

I believe it's a marketing move which the time share wants to create a "new brand" for/within their 7 loops. I'm sure the time share will use the new loop names (whatever they are) as much as possible going forward to create .... <something> .... (a desperate attempt) :confused3 . Pay more for a specific name .....

Suffice it so say,

I did not care what the 'old' names of the CABIN loops were (been a cabin guest many times);

I don't even care IMO what the old/current names of the CAMPING loops are (love my camping loops) ....

... because there are almost 30 of them. Nobody really cares IMO (again). All campers and cabin guests have their own favorite/preferred loops to stay in but nobody hardly calls them by name. In fact, when "requesting" a loop for your FW reservation (as mentioned specifcally in DIS Camping Board posts), I can't recall seeing a loop request referred to BY NAME - they are all BY NUMBER. But I'm only on my 4th decade of the Dis .....

The Fort Wilderness loops (all of them) have a nearly 6 DECADE record of earning reputations on their loops based on their NUMBER which will be hard to shake. By loop number, that is - see above.

Your (loop by number) reputation/record IS WHAT IT SAYS IT IS (to refer to Bill Parcells' famous quote).

Perfect, thank you so much!

This is so we can study up for the scavenger hunt, nothing more! The clues are often in relation to the loop names. In fact our most favorite find was late one night in July, we were out looking for a hand crocheted Cinderella doll that someone made and hid. My kids and I stayed up really late for the hide, and the hint that ended up helping us was "I wear a green hat and a brown coat, I am not a man." We were pulling out of Red Wolf Run with absolutely no clue where to go next, when I looked across the street and saw Mallard Trail and the light bulb went off. If we'd known the names we would have found it even sooner. It is our most prized Fort possession right now.
We hide a lot ourselves, so this will help me think of clues ahead of time, we leave Wednesday for Halloween!
