DVCMember.com says now only length of stay waitlists will be permitted. Is this just for the start of the booking window/7-day change? Or is it for all bookings?

This concerns me considerably more than the fairness (or unfairness) of when a booking window actually opens...

For us, the more usual situation is to book either at the (relative) last minute, or fairly far into the booking window, and thus have to waitlist for a day or two of our desired trip (we've used the W/L for at least 5 of 7 trips; and 4 of those 5 times it worked)...will we still be able to do this? Or if, for example, I want to go to WDW in January; I call now (in June)...I can get 5 of the 7 days I want, with the 2 missing days "scattered" in the week I want...will I be able to W/L those two missing days? Or will I have to make seven separate one-day reservations, link them, and use the W/L for each of the two missing one-day reservations?

Argh!!!!!!!

Anyone run into this yet?

Thanks!

I just made a reservation today and was allowed to waitlist one of the 9 nights.

What it means is that you can not waitlist each day individually. If you have a day or two missing in the middle of your reservation when you call to book, you can still waitlist for those.

To limit board clutter, we are limiting discussin of the new policies to this thread: New policy for reservations . You may continue the discussion there, if you wish.
