New BLT valet parking

I have wondered if they could remove the south garden wing and build another tower but I seem to recall reading that the garden wing is often used to house conventioneers and wasn't sure if that would keep them from seriously considering it as conventions are big money. Of course if they have a lot of space in the main tower for conventioneers who knows right?

Since valet parking is provided by an outside contractor, they need a minimum to provide the service. If enough guests use BLT valet, it will probably stay.

A major milestone could be a valet discount for card caring DVC owners.

Valet may survive at BLT, although I doubt it will have enough use to keep it going permanently. I also doubt we will ever see it at VGF, BCV or VWL, the only other WDW resorts that have a DVC separate from the main hotel building and do not have valet. VWL simply has no place for valet as everything for parking is the main lot, BCV has an adjacent parking lot (a portion of the main BC lot) but not really a place to put valet, and VGF, BCV, and VWL, unlike BLT, do not have enough rooms to justify an all day and evening valet employee to be there waiting for what likely would be a very small number using valet.

Now, if they brought back free valet ...

And then Valet will be allocated 2/3 of near-BLT parking and the 2nd tower construction will get the remaining 1/3

They'll make it 10% off, a whole $2, and only as long as they can brag about it to increase sales. (And not for post 4/4/16 resale buyers, of course. They can't afford to just give $2 away to EVERYONE.......)

Yes, I agree it's the pre-cursor to paid parking and/or resort fees. And maybe, if we're lucky, it will be a "perk" that we don't have to pay them (pre 4/4/16 owners or direct purchase only owners only of course).
