Catal is one of my favorites for breakfast. Especially sitting outside on a nice late spring morning. DD & I ate their just last month.

She had the same mushroom omelete you did and I went in knowing I was going to order the hash and for some reason at the last minute went with the Chilquilies. Man were they delish! The omelete was, too. This was our third time here for breakfast and the food was fabulous. We each ordered milk ($2.50) with our meal, so I didn't really pay that much attention to the other beverage costs. But $3.50 for coffee and/or soda is ridiculous and I agree the kids' meal should include a beverage.

Hmm...I have only been to Catal once (for dinner) and didn't like it much but breakfast sounds yummy so perhaps I'll give that a try next time. Thanks for the review

Great review ~ perhaps DD & I will try it this July. But no drink with a kids meal ~ that's not right! Maybe we'll be cheap and get ice water, but I have to have milk with pancakes/waffles ~ perhaps I'll go with one of the other options.
