When I looked for "new offers" on the disney visa site this morning, there weren't any for Disney World yet. That was about 8ish?

I wasn't even planning to do Disney at all this year..but w/ this great rate...how could I not go! I just booked a room at POR for $94 for 7 nights!! My total is $734. This is great!! I guess I will now do the "World" and the "Universe!!" :) Thanks Mary!

Doing my happy "disney" dance!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :p :p :p

I think we should have a little patience with CRO since this just went into their system today and they got a bunch of non-Disney Visa cardholders suddenly trying to make ressies which could have caused some confusion.

I agree with that statement, and I think I exhibited an extraordinary amount of patience this morning, as I sat on the phone for over 30 minutes in the 1st call, 15 minutes in the 2nd, and then had to field two more phone calls from CRO before the issue was resolved.

Don't get me wrong, I hold no blame toward the CM I was dealing with, like I said, I was extremely impressed with her - she was doing her job above and beyond, IMO.

My problem is with their management, and the communication that goes out to the CM's. There was obviously a lot of confusion, as even after the CM took the issue to management, they said one thing, and then later had to recant because the communication never got out to anyone. If the communication would have been solid in the 1st place, I believe the confusion could have been kept to a minimum.

Who knows, maybe the CM I was dealing with was the one who was confused and got the story wrong. I don't know, but it sure didn't sound like it...

Just saved $200 more dollars!!!!...$139 per night for AKL standard view room!!!

:Pinkbounc Doin' the happy dance!!

I called this afternoon seeking reservations in May at AKL with the new code (CZF) and the person answering the phone must have been the travel company cause she said that to use that code I'd have to speak with the CRO and she transferred me. I then got a CRO person who was great. He asked about the new Disney credit card - as if that is where I should have gotten the code - on the website for the credit card - and I said that I had applied for the card. He booked my ressie for $139 (w/o tax) standard room. Ironically we DID get our Disney credit card today (just my husband's - no spouse card with it yet).

Not 100% sure we can go in early May but thinking hard about it!

Changed my code from AXA to CZF and saved 10.00 a night. Now CBR is 104.81 anight tax included!!! I can't wait!!! May can't come fast enough.

Well, we finally got a CM to co-operate. The only problem now is they only have WV rooms at BC left for the basic, silver and gold plans using code for 1st 2 weeks in May. WV would have cost us $1500 more for 10 nights than what we are already paying. I think I'll stick with what I've got and keep trying.

There are now several offers on the site. The CZF offer the only WDW one. $25 off value, $50 off moderate, $100 off deluxe.

What would we all do without Mary? Thanks, Mary, for your newest way to save us money! Like many others I was able to apply the new code to my existing AKL reservation, and now I am paying $139/night for a standard view. Yahoo!

Thank you Mary!! I saved an additional $11.00 per night for our stay at the Yacht Club June 17-23. The CM wasn't very pleasant. She told me the new total after the code was applied and basically just hung up the phone on me. She sounded a little aggravated. My ressie was made through WDTC, but the confirm says 5 day cancellation policy and no prepayment requirement other than the deposit.

WhooHooo! Just got $100 off water view at POFQ!. Thanks!!! May have saved it on the room, but no doubt it will be spent in the gift shops!!!

I just saved another $100 on my April trip to the Poly. That was $100 cheaper then using the AXA code! The CM told me that AP rates are due out April 9th. Lets hope they are even better!

okay I guess it's just me, but seeing how availability seems so slim, I really do think this WAS just intended for us new Disney Visa cardholders. It kinda burns me since this card doesn't offer the greatest deal up front but is supposed to give us access to other offers. Well in this case, that has been negated right from the beginning. I hope CRO can get its act together so that those for who the code was meant for can actually use it.

Congrats to all who are saving on their trips. It really doesn't matter to me since I am staying at the BC in June and it appears those rates are the same.

The CM I spoke to said it was availabe to the general public. I asked as I don't want to arrive there and find out it was for Florida residents or something else. Availability is always limited with codes as WDW only sets aside a certain amount of rooms so they can hold on to the higher priced rooms too. If they see that bookings are still low then they put out another code. Every time a code comes out there are always people that cannot get the rate as it has been sold out. It has nothing to do with Visa cardholders.

The CM just called me back and said that in order to use the code, you HAVE to pay the entire resort booking with the new Disney Visa. She said that her supervisor took it all the way to a marketing manager to get this clarification. She also said that they are updating info about the code in the computers to make this perfectly clear!

I guess I'll try again and see!!!

Well when I called at 9pm last night the CM said that the code was good for everyone. She said it was a public code and did not require a pin or anything else. I'm happy!

Miss jasmine,

I too was concerned about this. But I specifically asked the cm if I needed to have a Disney Visa and was told absolutely not. The code was marketed through Disney Visa, but was not exclusive to visa holders.
