Came across this and thought you might like to see it. As the article says, amazing and eerie at the same time.

They are really good. The excuse about language doesn't hold water as the face characters only speak English at WDW. I expect the real reason is cost - and maybe the weight of the extra mechanics.

I think they look brilliant. Very realistic and will add to the Disney magic.

I thought they looked great...and the disney music got me all excited! :yay:

Thanks for sharing

Thanks Deb :thumbsup2
By the way -do you spend all your time searching for inane Disney Trivia and info on the web?:rotfl2: :surfweb:

Thanks for that Deb - I'm not sure what to think - it is a little weird, i'm gonna call DH up adn watch it again.
I think it's because I'm just not used to it.

I do when Sue's doing a quiz! :rotfl2: I came across this trying to find the answer to Question 28. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I absolutly love them. It'll take a bit of getting used to with Minnie and Mickey but Donald and Goofy were amazing :donald: :goofy:

They are both weird and fantastic. It seems like the voices are actually coming from the characters instead of mad gesticulation. Mickey and Minnie are fab, but I have to agree with Headzila - Goofy and Donald rock!! Two thumbs way, way up :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

It would be nice to see them in more shows, different parks and even the photo ops, but I can understand the limitations in that, and to be honest if Mickey blinked at me from two feet away, I'd jump out of my shorts :scared1:

It'll cost Disney milllions to get them in place on all characters, how long d'you reckon before Universal gets Shrek and Donkey done?

They look really good, I had never noticed before tho that they didnt used to move!!

They're great my DD's will love them, it makes them look as if they're actually singing, can't wait to see the show now.

Amazing can't say I'd ever noticed them not talking before but my children will love it. Although they may be upset when Mickey won't talk to them in the parks.

Donkey has been talking to guests for a few months now, and very funny he is too!
