New AP rates are out!!

Can someone please tell me what AP site you're all talking about?? I bought my AP a couple of weeks ago, but am doing Will Call, so all I have is the order confirmation #. I checked everything I have from them and there's no website listed for making AP reservations.

Thanks!!

I have a really good bounceback rate at the Poly for 7 nights in September, but I just called to see about AP rate which was higher and then wanted to see if I could add the dining and make it a package with no extra tickets and that was not available to add the dining. The CM checked and AP rate with dining was available at Beach Club. So it looks to me there are only so many ap rooms with the dining package available. I just thought if you had an AP room of any kind, you could pay for the dining and add this and make a package. Bummer. Anyone else had luck converting an AP room to dining also??:confused3

I noticed the same thing. When I was checking for availability on the passholder site, there was different availability if I went through the room plus dining link rather than the room only link.

At the top right of the Disney World website, there's a small link that says Passholders. Not sure you have enough information yet to log in though. You need your voucher or pass number, I think.

Missed it! I have a reservation for Sept 27-Oct 8. I called and of course was told that it would only be good for Sept 27 and wouldn't extend beyond that date for my other days. I would have saved almost $100 for that first night but don't want to have 2 seperate reservations. Hopefully they will bring out later rates for my trip.

I'm also going close to those dates. (9/27-10/5). Right now I'm sitting on the AAA rate at the WL, and the teacher rate at the swan (booked in feb for 199 a night, rebooked today at 149. Bookings are clearly down).

Bummer that we can't extend this discount past 9/27, but I really expect good AP discounts for 9/28 on. This discount block seems to be aimed at selling the rooms that didn't go in free dining, which is why there are so few. But it is also another indication that bookings aren't up to disney's expectations.

I noticed AP rates are cheaper for moderates and at SSR/OKW studios than with the bounceback promo.

Hi all,

I previously had a package with the free dining at AKL and was planning on just upgrading my tickets to our new passes (which expire before our trip) and everything was dandy. However, with the AP discount applied to our package, and switching over to paying for dining, I saved 200 dollars off of the package and I now have the ability to do my AP renewals whenever I want before my trip! Yay. I am super happy!

AKL standard--144 a night! Plus, if you ask nicely at the front desk, ya might even be upgraded for free! **crosses fingers** Okay discounts discounts, where are ya!? :thumbsup2 :lmao:

HI,

I just called looking for 8/21-8/24 and was told that they had nothing available for those dates at ANY of the resorts???? Is that possible?

Ok I called back and could you believe the SAME CM answered LOL. I hung up and called again and got another CM and she told me that AP rates for those dates came to about $1 more than AAA for Pop Preferred room. Oh well. I thought about upgrading, but I like Pop, so I am going to keep it as is.

Same thing when I called to check for POP rates - the passholder rate would have been $7 less than AAA...but CBR was a $75 savings, so we'll be enjoying a vacation within a vacation at tropical CBR!

This is a quick budget trip, but CBR rates were so good it's still a budget trip!::yes::

I called this morning to see what AP rates were available for our August trip and I was told we had a pin code connected to our name. So I asked about upgrading to a moderate from POP. AP rate wasn't available for our time frame, but the pin code rate was so I went with that. DH doesn't fly out to Orlando until the 17th of August so I am going to stay at POP with the AAA rate for 2 nights and then we will check into Port Orleans Riverside on the 17th with a pin code.

i just called to switch my room only rack rate ressie to the AP discount (dates are 07/19-07/25) at POP. i was booked in a preferred room i booked online and it took forever for them to change the ressie. after all that...it only came out to a $19 a night discount. YUCK! is this because i have a preferred room? i may call back and move to a regular standard room for the full AP discount.

Hah! I thought we were getting such a good rate at AK since we're doing the EE race (9/27) but it is $155/night vs. $144/night is we use our APs! Not a big difference, but it made me laugh since I thought we were getting such a deal..:lmao:

The discount will still be the same $/night but you won't be paying the extra $10/night for the prefered rooms.

makes sense. though i was banking on the $64/night + tax for value. what i have now with the AP discount comes out to $119 (tax included). even minus the extra $10, it's $109/night (tax included).

never mind...i think i was looking at the $64 rate listed for August travel dates. does anyone know what the actual value rate is for value for 07/19-07/25. just checking up on my cast member.

The rack rate or AP rate?

Summer rack rates in July for a value std is $104 + tx Sun thru Thurs and $118 + tx Sat and Sun. :)

AP std $94 + tx

Hope this helps!

You cannot access the AP online website if you do will call. I found this out the hard way. Not a huge deal but now you'll have to call to check availibility.

I can do some checking for you if you would like on the passholders site. I would just need to know your dates and what resorts you would like to stay and and how many people.
