New AP rate - they are having problems can't book on phone

ugh....I tried to apply to my existing ressie...saves us $130.....but they are having IT issues with it....it shows up online but they can't get it to show in their system....they suggested I call back tomorrow.

I will be super bummed if the rates are not there tomorrow....its always hard to find the lower room rates at WL...

I had no problem this morning when I called to apply the AP rate to my existing reservation.

I have suggestion. Do not know if it makes sense...

Why don't you book online now, and to-morrow, you can either delete your old reservation and keep that new one, or, if they can apply the AP rate to your old one, you can delete that new one...

I also called earlier this afternoon to modify my existing ressie for April, and at first the CM quoted me rack rate. So I gave him the 3 letter code from disney's passholder site and then he was able to apply the 45% off. Phew, I was worried for a minute!

The CM working on mine had problems too. After a while (and after I gave her the code and we discussed what I saw online and the rate which she could now see) she just said while I'm just going to do this.. "hope it is right" and "there now your all set". She requoted the new price and it was what I was expecting. Later I looked online and it is there. I would call back if I was you or just book online and cancel. Good luck! Saved us quite a few dollars

We are going back adn forth about buying an AP. We are going Easter week (March 31-April 8) and everything is only offered at rake rate.

Does the AP room only discount apply to Easter week. If it does it would be worth it for us to purchase it.

We are staying at POR.

Can someone tell me the code for the AP discount that includes QS dining and 4 or more nights? The code I gave them only included up to 3 nights and I don't have access to the passholder website right now. We are buying our passes when we upgrade one day tickets upon arrival in march so I can't check for myself.

I have a pin code for 35% in a moderate but I believe the new code offers 40% off mods for 4 or more night stays.

I have a current reservation through a Disney travel agent...they will not be in until Monday and I wanted to be certain to get the new AP rate......can I call in and give them my Disney confirmation code?

Any advice will be appreciated...

I can't see why you couldn't call yourself and change your current reservation to an AP rate with the discount code. Just give them the code that applies to your trip specifics. There is a limited number of rooms available with discounted rates so the quicker you get the discount, the better chance you'll have getting the room you want at the discounted price. But you need to know the correct code related to your reservation details. For instance, the code for 1-3 nights with room only is QIJ. The code for 1-3 nights with quick service dining is QIK.

I don't know the other codes because I don't yet have access to the passholder website. I would like to know the code for 4 or more nights with quick service dining. Usually, member services will give you the code for the dining addition or tickets, if you know the code for the room only. I knew the QIJ code and they gave me QIK as the code for the addition of quick service dining. But since my reservation is for more than 4 nights, I couldn't use this code. The cast member didn't know the code for the 4=nights, so I can't get the discount until I find out that code.

We're getting an AP at the end of January, but will be going back in May & probably in the Fall, too...would like to be able to get the dining plan with those trips.

Yes, you can. You may or may not be required to show your AP at check in, but you can book without having your AP yet. They don't ask for the numbers off the pass. You can also add any of the Disney dining plans.

Boy, I was away from the computer one day and missed it. There's an AP rate for the spring? I better check this out.

Just checked out the info on the AP website. Guess I'll have to call today since the AP rate is less than the pin rate I received earlier this year for my March trip. Also can book my April trip too. One day stays for me, so not the better offer, but sill better than the pin offer, plus I can add dinning to my one day stays (usually delux for one day and spread out the credits over 2 days, works great for us).

Yes I had done that.

they figured out the problem...the QIJ is for the 3 days or less stays and there is a different rate code for 4 days or more....and the CM was able to make the change for me. She didn't tell me the other code. The CM did say they were trying to update the webpage to reflect BOTH codes...so make sure you ask about that when you call.

I saved $130 more (because we already had an AP Pin rate) ...hey every little bit counts....

Called 3 times and can't get a CM that knows how to apply this code
Like one of the pp mentioned, the QIJ code is for three days or less. They can't seem to figure out how to get 4 days or more.

I will keep calling, but I can't book online because I already have a ressie and it's paid in full, I just want to apply the new rate to my existing res. for march.
