Hey Kimmar~
I like your other close up picture of Hugh better than the one on the left ~looks like he's wearing chick sandals...eewww... he's too much of a guy for that...
What's Fred's opinion of the new line up??

just can't focus! Especially when the "bod" blinds you! LOL!

Good night, all!

ok I have been lurking on this thread for months and it is getting close to time for me to leave for the WL . So here comes the 1st of many questions for you all .
Has anyone been able to upgrade when they checked in at the desk on the FTP .
Before anyone tells me that I need to pay for it if I want it for sure. I tried ,OH how I tried, We have been checking almost every 3-5 days to see if one is available for our time. They said they only had a small # of rooms that were Conceirge for the FTP and they were gone on the 1st day .....
If we dont get it , I guess we just will do it next time but it sure would be nice . Sure do wish I could use the trusty O'l De-Coder ring on them

Wishing everyone a Tagged night:D

Ha, I was trying to, but those sandals kept screaming at me!! I like the new close up pictures much better, keep 'em coming!! We'll never get tired of Hugh

Shelley S..............How many dollars did you have to put on the card to reach 120 Disney dollars? I have not had time to check through the info as to how many $$ must be spent to get a $$ in Disney $$$. Thanks so much.;)

Mad4Mickey, It doesn't hurt to try to upgrade at check-in. You never know!
Kim, love the new muscles...I mean pic!

Fred..:( :( :( Sorry to hear about your news!! Try to make the best of it and maybe it won't be so bad. (I have had the same problem in the past!)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and FLoridacat...try to keep your head above water!!:D

Has anyone used the Disney Visa to turn spent $$$ into points to use at the Lodge or any other Disney purchase?? How many spent $$ does it take for one Disney $$? Thanks guys......:D

i think it is 1 disney dollar for every $1,000 you spend. we have saved up disney dollars but have not used them yet. planning to use them this december at the lodge. :D

Wow.........That seems a bit steep.....I was thinking 1 for 10 or one for 100 perhaps. My Citibank Visa tied to American Airlines was giving me one mile for each dollar. At one for 1000 you would have to spend $75,000. to get 75 points????:( I have looked high and low for the info they sent to get me to sign up and cannot find it.

The information I got in the mail said 1%, I passed on it

Special bonus offers that help you earn more rewards or

oops, i mess up about the disney dollars. floridacat is right. i have been so confused all day.

sorry. :D

...no interest on your balance for the 1st 6 months!! (mine ends in Sept, so I'm tryin' to get that balance down as low as possible!)

is correct. You can transfer any other balances you have to the Disney card and you get the Disney Dollars for the transfers, too.
;)

...'scuse me, but I beg to differ. My DH was gonna do that when he applied (Had over $10,000 balance) and was SPECIFICALLY told by cust. svc. that the balance could be transferred, but he would NOT get the points!!

I'm confused!
I was sure it was 1%, so for every $100.00 you charge, you get $1.00 disney dream dollar. If it was $1 for every $1000, well that would be insanity, no? I hope I'm not wrong here, but I guess I'll see on my next statement, because we had an "unexpected expense" this month, and by my calculations, I should have about $10 dream dollars this month alone!

Blue Orchid I'm also a fan of your siggie "hunk". I have a few pics of him in my office right next to JBJ!

* Subject to credit approval. You will earn one (1) Disney Dream Reward DollarSM for every one hundred (100) dollars in net purchases, up to a maximum of 750 Disney Dream Reward DollarsSM on $75,000 in net purchases in a calendar year. You will not earn Disney Dream Reward DollarsSM on balance transfers, cash advances, convenience checks, unauthorized charges, finance charges accrued on your account balances, or fees on products which protect or insure the balances of your account or fees of any kind. Disney Dream Reward DollarsSM will accrue only when your Disney credit card account is in good standing. The Disney Dream Reward DollarsSM will have to be transferred to a designated card or certificate before they can be redeemed. Redemption is allowed only for designated Disney merchandise or services at participating Disney locations.
==============================================
This is what I copied from the Disney Visa website... looks like $1 earned per $100 spent. Nothing earned on transfers.

Hope this helps!

I guess it would be insanity if it was $1.00 for every $1,000.00, every $100.00 makes much more sense.

Tig-girl - am I going crazy?
