Fred, I don't know if ya'll are planning on eating at Whispering Canyon or not but if you do make sure they know it's Julia's birthday. They had so much fun with people's birthdays there.

Thanks everyone for the compliments on our picture. I really love it! We were walking around on our last day and a very sweet DVC member came up and took it for us. We had a wonderful conversation with her.

Well, for those who have been sending PD my way thanks. Unfortunately, my aunt did get laid off on Friday. It was an atrocious day all the way around. Her family has many irons in the fire, so we still don't know whether we are cancelling or not. I have spent all weekend wondering and trying to be patient.
Just look at my countdown thingy go . . . we are running out of time fast. And I really want to get started packing. Supposedly she will find out about some financial considerations early this week so we can decide.
Also, I was taking a look at beautiful Mars last night (has anyone seen it, it's bright, huge! Look in the eastern sky around 10pm or so for the next few days). Anyway, while I was staring at it and wishing on a "star" I saw a shooting star right next to it!!!! So maybe that is a sign. Here's hoping!

We sure are! I love eating there. Julia liked it last year so I am sure she will this time as well. It's so nice to have such a choice for food in one hotel.

Thanks for the advice everyone! I am starting to get back into that exciting mood again and am looking forward to leaving!! I just have to think happy thoughts!

Still working on something cool for everyone....more on that soon as I get closer to my departure date.

I agree with Corky, you need to set boundaries and apart time.
Advice from been there, done that.... DO NOT GET IN THE HABIT OF WAITING ON EACH OTHER WHILE OTHERS RIDE SOMETHING ELSE. What this does is while your waiting then somebody waiting decides to ride something else while they're waiting and then when the others get back they are gone and then they go to ride something else and so the story goes until all you've done all day is wait..
Now with cell phones and walkie-talkie that shouldn't happen but please you and your family enjoy your time, tell them what you are doing and where they can find you if they want to do something different.
Remember I will be in conc. the week before you so if you think of any questions you want answered just let me know.

Ratpack - that is so funny you say that because that is really her motto for living. So of course when I was talking to her and she was so upset, that is the first thing I told her.
God has already brought us through so much this year, and she was already struggling to manage it all. We've had 2 deaths in the family, among other things. Anyway, I just know she really needs this time away with her boys. She has definitely been the excited one during all of the planning.
Kimmar - I thought of your disappearing countdown when I got word of this last week. Unfortunately, with the economy and everyone's financial situation, I just see no way to go without her or find a substitute. The cost is just too high for such short notice. And I can't pay the double occupancy by myself. Hopefully we will find a way.

Kimmar, it's not that I want people to agree with me....I just don't like being constantly contradicted I think. I.E. "Which deluxe resort should I stay at any why?" Me: "WL, it's so beautiful at Christmastime!" Someone else: "WL is pretty at Christmas, but AKL is STUNNING!" or.....Me, re: Mission Space "The G-forces on Mission:Space are more intense and longer lasting than RNR." Someone else: "I have to disagree - if you can handle RNR, you can do MS."

Just my opinions...I love reading and I'll just be about to post when I come to your advice...and in my opinion you are always right-on...I have even posted "I agree with BluOrchid2 " When you gave your report on M:S I LOL and said OHHHHH now I have to try it....Lora I enjoy your opinions please don't think everyone is uptight.
