The dates of our trip are 9/20-9/27. We will not be arriving until late on the 20th and have an early morning planned on the 21st. I doubt I'll be able to make it to any type of scheduled meet, but wanted to let you know my dates anyway.


Who is JBJ? Just wondering.

We are going to VWL next summer, and I was wondering what is the best way to get to the MK in the morning? I've heard that it can be difficult sometimes.

2. How do you get a picture and/or the countdown clock in your signature.

zippehsmom The BEST way to get to MK from VWL is by boat. It is quick and easy, and takes you directly to the entrance bypassing the TTC. The boat dock is NOT the same as the Grand Teton Marina where you can rent boats, bikes, etc... Just follow the signs to the boat dock (check your map you receive at check in). It is not hard!

As far as the picture under your name, you need to go User CP located at the top of the page to the left and under the edit options at the bottom of the page there is a . You can pick pictures there is a link called avatar. You can then pick a picture to display. I think that is the way to do it. If I'm wrong, someone else should be along to help.

The Tag Fairy is a glorious mythical being who showers us with pixie dust and inserts colorful "tags" between our "name" and our avatar! Anyone who has been tagged by the tag fairy is in color, everyone else black and white.

See the thread "Who the heck is the Tag Fairy?" It also helps to be a poster on the Community Board. (Not to mention having great recommendations from other Disboard members!)

ofcourse the closer I get the more I wonder if I have everything planned as well as I thought, especially money and other things, so its just funny how I cant wait for months and now less then 3 weeks to go Im wishing if I had maybe a little more time to plan.

Thanks Disbug. Should I get there really early to get to MK first thing? I read somewhere that they share with Fort Wilderness and guests at WL will sometimes get passed up if the boat is full.

If MK is opening at 9:00 AM, I usually plan to be at the boat dock by 8:15 AM. (Ask the front desk what time the first boat will arrive at WL.) It's usually 45 mins to 1 hr before the park opens. Of course, I like to be through the security check point and close to the front of the turnstiles when the park opens. This helps "beat" the crowds to the most favored attractions (Dumbo, SM, ....) You can realistically get to the boat dock about 8:30 AM and still get to MK before it opens, but you will be farther back in line.
