:D :) Thank you.

You are so right dizneykid, things in this world are not important, but our loved ones are our most precious possessions. Especially thank you for remembering all of us in your prayers. I will do the same, and remember all of you also, in mine.

NJFabFour, yes I know the angels were with her and I am so grateful. I will be thankful to them always and to God for sending them to be with her. They truly guide and guard us, even if we forget they are there sometimes. They are invisible, like pixie dust, but magical just the same.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!

for all the family members who were staying at the Lodge or VWL... the CM's at the front desk asked me if they were for sale! Well, maybe in the future! ;)

Disbug - VERY nice arrangement!

I couldn't be that creative!

You made it and took it with you to the lodge? Wow, I can barely remember the essentials!. You really go prepared!!! :earsgirl:

That's why I'm LOL! in a lot of my Disbugs Grand Adventures posts from our last trip. I imagine I looked a sight walking in to the WL with all our goodies and arrangments for the different family members who were staying there! Then standing in line for the front desk and trying to explain to the CM what we were doing!!

"You want to put these where?" "These are for what? Who?"

She finally "got" it and the CM's at the front desk all had to come over and take a peek to see what was going on!

Keep in mind, we don't do this for every trip to WDW... just this particular one since so many of us were coming!

Thank you for the nice comments!

Hello everyone. This thread is amazing. It is just what I have been looking for.

My wife and two girls ages 5 and 7 have booked Nov. 2 to Nov. 8 at the Wilderness Lodge. I've been getting bits of information from different websites the past few weeks, however, after taking the past few days to read through this thread it's like one stop shopping. There will be no need to go anywhere else for info on the WL.

All the questions I've had about the resort have been pretty much answered. Can someone though please help in clarifying a few things. We booked a woods view room. From my reading the past few days I take it that all the woods view rooms are in the north wing facing MK.

1. Is this true?
2. Are they all on upper floors, or are some woods view rooms on the first & second floors?

It's been 10 years since my wife and I have been to Disney. We stayed at GF and I thought it was a little stuffy. As a kid I stayed at the Poly three times which I loved. First time in the late '70's before EPCOT.

I can't wait to experience WL!

Thanks for the help.

Woodsview is north wing building B, farthest from the lobby, all floors. North wing building A are Standard view. All of 6th floor north wing buildings are smoking rooms according to CM during our stay in July as I was quizzing them for my WL report.

Welcome to the thread!! Make sure you send us pictured for the photo album!

Uh...there are LOTS of people from New Jersey in this thread huh? :)

I'll be hanging out in the chatroom on and off today. Anyone want to stop in?

Hey Beth! We need more pics and I haven't seen any added recently. You said you had lots of em!! Where are they? :teeth:

Just stumbled on this post while working on my next project for all of us (It's gonna be a good one...I think at least...) and decided to see if you had more to post.

Click on "Our Disney Trips" and then you want the 2003 trip!
Some of the pics may be blurry. Also, I have more that I need to put up! I just started doing this last week so....

{blush}

I know, I've totally neglected my site..... It's been hectic at work. I promise I'll update it this week. I'll put up some pics of WL in December.

I'll post when there up :)

 Hi! Nice to see you on here. So you picked the WL for your vacation.......you are going to love it!!! I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else, now that I've experienced the lodge. You are going to have alot to see if you haven't been there in 10 years. You will be amazed. I am, every time I get there and realize I am really there.:earsgirl: We were there last Nov. into Dec. You are going at a great time. Our next trip isn't April of 2004. I can't wait! While you are at the lodge, be sure to dine at the Whispering Canyon, just be ready for a hootin & hollerin time. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Anyone have pics of the Cub's Den? Or, can you point me in the right direction?

BTW - I was just on Deb Wills site and there are some new WL photos up......enjoy :)

Thank you for all the "Welcomes".

FloridaCat...thanks for the info. The area you described as being woods view is exactly the area of the hotel I was looking to be in. Courtyard view is not in my budget for this trip. Since I'm really not sure if I want bunk beds yet for the kids the only request I will probably make is for a nonsmokking room on either the 4th or 5th floors.

Majestic...I noticed a lot of Jersey people also. The week I am going in November is called "Jersey Week" by some, from what I understand. There is a teachers convention held in Atlantic City around the first week of every Nov. All public schools (not sure about private schools) in the state are closed on the Thursday and Friday. My school district (Old Bridge) has closed schools the whole week. I think a lot of other districts do the same. If the district doesn't close the whole week a lot of families pull their kids out of school for a few days to go to WDW. There isn't much better of an off season time to go than the first week of November. Obviously school isn't an issue for you yet :)

Mermaid 3...10 years is a long time....I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Wow. We are located in Sayreville. Not far from you at all! Nice to know there are disney nuts within my vicinity. :)

School isn't an issue yet but I don't believe it will be a problem. I want my daughter to have a good education and all but if it's the only time my wife and I can get off....she's getting signed out for the time. I would make arrangements for homework and such to be made up. My work schedule doesn't always allow for us to take vacation during the summer months.

Besides....I'm sure she will eventually get tired of going to Disney soo much!!! NOT!!! :)

So you are near my main man, JBJ, huh? Is your wife a fan?

Anyway..........................we have never gone to Disney in the summer, I have always taken the kids out of school, and it has not been a problem so far. Now DS13 (soon to be 14) is starting his freshman year next week, so we are hoping that taking him out in April wont be a problem. He is of course saying he will go "no matter what"! So don't think the kids will get sick of Disney, he told me today that he wouldn't even bother going on vacation with us if we were to go anywhere else! He was 2 on his first trip, and he was hooked! So be prepared to go to Disney for the rest of your life! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I have only gone in the summer before. I am looking forward to see what it's like going in the fall. I am really wondering about how the weather will be. Is it warm enough to go swimming in the afternoon the 1st week of Nov?

Yeah yeah yeah....first thing everyone says when I tell them where we live. :) I am a fan. Always have been. Wife likes him too but I would say we aren't die-hard fans.

I sure hope that my daughter doesn't lose the love for Disney. I know we wont!

Oh, and please, don't put pictures of JBJ in your signature!! I will have a serious mental breakdown!! :teeth:

~majestic! Looks like your countdown clock is speeding up! I know you can't wait... What is this big SECRET you are cooking up at WL? HMMM? Don't leave us hanging, too long! ;)

~kimmar! Where are you, girl? Haven't seen a post from you in a while....Are you lurking?

For us the time is going slow but I do notice that the day is getting closer! As for the secret, I am still working on it. It's going to take me some time so I won't have it ready any time too soon.

There is also another project that I am working on that will require me actually being at the lodge so you won't hear about that until I get back. It will be fun for all I can assure you if I can pull it off. :teeth:

Wish we could get everyone to send me more pics! Hint Hint!
Didn't anyone like my idea to have a 10 best pics? Maybe I am just too impatient. :)
