I guess that makes us anniversary twins!!!!!

I hope you and DH have a great day. My DH has already called me twice from the road to let me know he's been thinking about me. He can still be very thoughtful after all these years.

We've never been to one of the nicer restaurants at WDW. So, we've decided to leave our boys in the cub's den one night and celebrate our anniversary again at either Artist Point, California Grille, or Fultons. We can't decide.

WOW Robdam, calm down, calm down... no one was flaming you. we play nice here....If you had read the thread through then you would have noticed how we were teasing about Pamela Anderson and that Majestic was outnumbered by us Hugh fans...
You'll notice that people put different signatures and pictures in their posts,,, some put pictures of their families, some put pictures of a hobby, some put pictures that they just plain like.

I don't think this thread is a FLUFF thread, I've learned A LOT from the great people like Majestic, Florida Cat, Kimmar, AspiringCindy, Ratpack to name a few.....

I haven't stayed at the WL yet, but that's why I subscribed. Yeah, some of the posts are about making friends and friendly banter, but that's what the DisBoards are all about. As you put it you "are a newbie", you could have just ignored the thread and gone elsewhere for your information.

If you want a "REPORT", then buy the book. BUT, you won't get any personal comments, and personal tips, and any personal attention or friends.

I was thinking about trying to work out the meet and greet and was wondering if it would work for everyone to try to meet on Fri. evening 09/19.....I can't remember if this would cover everyone's stay........what do you think?

I think what we need is this.

Everyone who is going down around the same time, (for me that is 9/12 to 9/21) private message me your dates. I will take that info and try to see if 9/19 works. If not, I will post 1 or 2 other days that may work.

Evening is fine with me. Days will be pretty busy. Night time is the right time.

So, what do yas think? Agree? PM me then!

I have a favor to ask you guys.....I would so much love to be a part of your meet but will still be in the hospital from total knee replacement on 9/4........ ... Please include me in your group hug in that beautiful lobby. I just know I will feel it and start to feel better .. We are hoping my therapy is over by November and have our fingers crossed that we can get to the Lodge in December but sitting here waiting for this to be over seems like forever as it will be my second surgery sinceMay........Thanks guys.You are the very best...

We don't arrive until late on Saturday, Sept. 20th and we have an early morning planned the next day. We probably won't be checking in until at least 7:30pm and maybe later depending on our flights. So, I will probably miss any type of meeting. Ya'll have fun!!!!

What we need is for DIS to put a "WALL OF DIS" someplace in one of the parks. Then on our visits we could put up our pic with handle and check out fellow DISers.

They have a photo gallery here at the dis right? Should we make one for the Wilderness Lodge???

I can make arrangements to host a photo gallery somehow for us lodgers. If there is interest of course. Problem is, pictures are heavy on bandwidth so hosting costs could get high. Maybe we should do a yahoo photo albumn or something and just put them all there?

Also, the only one who PMd me with dates was Corky! What's THAT all about? No other interest in a meet??? SPEAK UP PEOPLE!

You took my idea. I was going to suggest we start a WL "show me your face" thread and everyone could post a picture of their family. A great way to put a face to a name. But I like your idea of a seperate photo gallery. My vote - YAY.
