Since joining the "dis" I've noticed two things:

1) I appear to be one of the few guys that POST here. Just looks like the majority of the people posting messages are female. Is it just me? I dunno...conspiracy theory type stuff....

2) I can't WAIT to get an email telling me that there are new posts to be read in my threads of interest! You could TIME me from the time I get the email and I click the link to read the post. It's pretty damn fast I tell ya!

We have just under two months to go. DW, DD, and I went to Home Depot to get our Behr Mouse Ears in Alien Green but guess what......THEY WERE ALL OUT! I take it that some OTHER Dis'rs got there before us! We took some other color green ones just to have a backup.

Ratpack and the others that are going in the coming week, make sure that you have a great time and of course, come back and tell us ALL about it!

Majestic, nice pics on your home page. Your wife and daughter are very cute! Very nice looking family. My daughter is 2.5, and she is going for her third time to WDW in about 2 weeks. LOL

It is fun to read posts where everyone is just as excited as we are about our trip. 2 months to go. This will be our daughter's first trip. She will be 6 months. I know she won't remember it but, the pictures will be priceless!

We are down to 48 days!! I just paid, so we're definitely going.
I got the green Mickey too, but I got Sonic Boom, not Alien Green. Is that close enough?

Wow. You guys will be ending your trip as we get there for our first few days! Look for me and my family.

We didn't get Alien Green either. All out so whatever I got is green and has to be good enough.

Any place to where / place these in particular?

Also, has anyone here REALLY just gone up to someone with these on thier person and said hi??? I feel a bit wierd doing it at first but at the same time, you're kinda asking for it by wearing it right? Hahah!

We arrive at the WL on the evening of Sept. 20th and will be staying thru the 27th. We have 2 rooms between 7 people. Me, my DH, DS 6, DS 9, SIL, BIL, and neice 6. We all stayed at the WL 2 years ago and can't wait to get back. You're going to love it!!!!

We all got together for lunch yesterday to discuss our trip and start making some plans. We are just too excited!!!!

I wore mine with my Guest of Honor badge (Pinned to it).

During our trip in May, there were 3 other DIS'ers staying at the same time at the same resort. I LOOKED and saw NO ONE with the lime green ribbon/mickey on. So, I don't know what I would've said

I have now been to my Home Depot twice and they didn't have the right green ones. It didn't occur to me to get a different color green...DUH!! Have to make another trip I guess!

When you get down to the Wilmington area and see a little Boy and Girl standing along the road that will be my DGS & DGD, couple of Disney freaks. Give them a ride LOL.

Just found your trip report (saw that you referred another poster on the Resorts board) and eagerly printed out all 4 parts! What a FABULOUS resource!! Definately some of the most helpful info to date! I can't wait! My DD and I are both wildlife enthusiasts so was especially excited when I read of the wonderful encounters you had! (Though terribly sorry to hear about the duck! )

We'd like to head over to Ft. Wilderness one evening, maybe for the campfire. Is it a short walk or is it better to drive? Has anyone else been to this event? Do Chip and Dale always make an appearance? Thanks for any info!

majestic - i do the same thing in the morning. i get up, turn on the computer, and check email to see what new posts to look at.

kimmar - if you don't mind what kind of rates and what kind of camper/home did you get for ft. w.? my dh and i have been passing that idea around for some time now (especially, because we could bring our little dog, Dixie!) i will be looking forward to reading all about your trip when you get back.

floridacat - i just love your signature tinkerbell and wl. sprinkle it on tink.

just excited for all your lodgers whose vacations are coming soon, have a most magical, pixie dust filled time.

Take the small boat that flies the Blue flag from the WL Boat dock.. Goes to FW. I am not sure where the Campfire is held over there, but the Boat CM will surly know.

Be sure and have a meal at Trails End. A short walk from the FW boat dock. Just keep kinda vering to your rigth.

Kimmar067 is having the campout. I will be waiting for her report as well. We are having a family shin dig coming up next year sometime and that might be the place to have it. Also what Trails End will be serving for Thanksgiving.

Kimmar-about that little camp out of yours.......

I was just wondering if you are getting one of the Ft. Wilderness cabins???? I have been very courious about them, since they seem to be so nice, so cozy, and yet so roomy! Loving "The Lodge" as we do, I don't know if we could do it, but I've been considering the cabins for some time. I'm just a little worried that it will be so remote that we will wait hours for transportation.
So, tell me what you know ,if that is the route you are going, and if not,
I still want to hear all about it when you get back!
