I was just thinking the same thing. We were on the north side woods view for our honeymoon, and it opened to the balcony. Ill have to look it up on my papers from our wedding. The five year anniversary celebration sounds great. Wish I could be there for the 10 year celebration in 04/

My last day at work!

Tomorrow & Friday, cleaning & packing.

Sat morning our flight leaves from NYC. Weather wise, we should be OK. I'm worried about delays/cancels from Friday clogging up the airport on Saturday. I'm worried too, about our plane and/or flight crew being "stuck" someplace so they cancel our flight.

I really hope we arrive at WL early Sat afternoon as planned.

Crowds are LOW. You may have to wait about 5 to 10 minutes for most rides during the week. Weekends are another story. Per FloridaCat and MANY others....STAY AWAY FROM MK ON SATURDAYS!!!

I should have another trip report for you all tonight. Did Epcot again today. What a blast! Lots of great times today.

Tomorrow is our Flag Family day! Can't wait. Also....another COOL treat coming up for me....I may get to rent a Segway HT for an hour tomorrow. Now THAT will be fun!

I hope the flag family day is great. Can't wait to hear about it. I'm getting so close - but it seems like the next 24 hours are going to take days. Just gotta do the finishing touches on the packing. One more 1/2 day of work and then we are off. I hope we get a chance for a meet.

You aren't renting that segway while I'm there, are you? (slight chuckle as she wonders if you need a drivers license for one of those.

rugratsmom - I have been cleaning like crazy today trying to get ready for our trip. I want to finish my house by tomorrow so that Friday can be devoted to packing. My excitement always turns to panic at this point because I'm always afraid I'm going to forget something essential. It seems like this week has passed really slow.

Fred - It's very good to hear the crowds are low. I was starting to get a little worried. I'm hoping the crowds will still be low next week as well.

What is it with this obsession that we all have to "clean" before we go away. My DH thinks I'm crazy cause I say we can't leave a dirty house. It must be that we want to come home to a clean house, or, we don't want the burgulars to steal from a dirty house. Sorry, I'm getting pretty goofy. I had a hard time sleeping last night - don't know what will happen tonight. Watch - I'll get to disney and be sooo tired - nope - I won't let that happen.

On another note, I had not made any PS character breakfasts as I though my DS was not into them anymore. Last night he asked me where we were going for the character breakfast and who was going to be there. OPPS..... I spent this morning frantically getting us a character breakfast. Fortunately, (thank you thank you tank you) I was able to get not one but two - so he can't be diasppointed. CRO said it must have been my lucky day as they usually can't get them the day before.

Congrats on getting 2 character breakfasts. Which ones did you get?

We'll be at Chef Mickey's for a late breakfast next Thursday. We got a PS for Hollywood and Vine the morning of our breakfast on our last trip. So, sometimes the PD is definitely in the air.

You know, it's funny, I could care less about having a clean house, but my DH is the one that wants everything in order before we leave. So, I'm cleaning my house so that my DH will be able to relax on our trip. He's insistent about returning to a spotless home.

That's funny about DH wanting it and not you. Quite the opposite in my house. Now, mind you, I leave the house every morning a mess but something about having it clean when I go away.

We got Crystal Palace on Friday 8 AM and 'Ohanas on Sunday morning at 8 also. We haven't been to either of those. I've never been to the Poly so I'm excited to see it.

I sure am excited and I'm sure you are too.

OOOOO! Pins. I love pins! I heard you from all the way over on the S/D thread! Just ordered a few from this pin event weekend. I have never traded any before. Too hard to give 'em up I guess!

I ran into one little boy once who demanded that I hand over a pin he was pointing at on my lanyard. I just smiled and said that I didn't trade mine. He just opened his mouth and said, "But you HAVE to!" LOL! I think he must have thought I was a CM...

Well, I've slept good all week. Then tonight, or this morning rather, I wake up a 4am and can't go back to sleep. So, instead of tossing and turning I just got up and came to read the boards. I don't think I've willingly gotten up this early since my boys were babies except for when we had to catch a 6am flight for our last WDW vacation. We learned from that experience and we're flying out a noon this time. We were tired for the entire trip and never really caught up on our sleep.

I keep thinking of everything I have to do. My boys teachers have not sent their work yet and that has me in a mild panic. I thought I had made it clear that I wanted their work 3-4 days before we left so we could start working on it. I'm a former elementary teacher so I obsess about making sure that we get the school work done a little at a time while on the plane. I even have made a journal for my boys to write in every day about the days events. Anyway, I know I'm rambling, but I just couldn't sleep and this is better than watching TV.

Hopefully I'll run into a few of you in a few days.

I was able to sleep last night but didn't get to bed until after 2AM. Everything (I hope) is packed and we are ready to go. Leaving work at noon to pick up DH and DS from school and then it's off to the airport. We should be able to get out of Pittsburgh before Isabel hits. The weather in Disney looks great.

MLBrooks, cjk, loubelou, Kimberle - have a safe trip down and I'll be looking for you at the lodge.

PD to all who are going to be affected by Isabel. I hope she dies down before causing any injuries or damage.
