I've made some changes to the March meets.

I've planned early entry meets for those staying onsite.

March 11, 7:45 am -- USF front gates
March 12, 7:45 am -- IOA front gates

The 8:30 am meet dates on March 11 and 12 have changed to 9:30 am. The place to meet is still in front of the Hard Rock Live in Citywalk.

Please sign up if you haven't yet and want to attend.

Thanks!

Is anything going on later in the day for those who cannot wake up that early??

Barry,

Since my family and I will already be there, I believe, staying at HRH, is this get together open to anyone that comes to this site? If so, let me know. I'm sure one of these mornings I'd like the pleasure of making your and Jessica's acquaintance along with any others.

Aloha Barry,

I won't be signing up anymore. I'll just wait until they are all finalized, but it is likely I will be at most meets, if not all. :)

I am coming from a very long way and really looking forward to meeting many of you. I am so very grateful that some of you have decided to take an extra trip and will be meeting with us. I am coming back to Universal because I really enjoyed the two parks. I am staying at HRH because I am getting a fantastic price for a great hotel. We have never experienced FOTL and when I booked it was unlimited. But I am not really upset by the changes, to tell you the truth. Once is fine with us. ;)

So when we meet, we hope others are like-minded and are there to have a great time. I have invested too much time and money into this trip to be around disguntled tourists who just want to grumble. I am sorry, I have no patience with that type of person. So fair warning to anyone who is feeling deprived, please do not complain around me and expect sympathy. I am not good with whiners. :(

Many of us are going to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and meeting and being together having fun. I, for one, am really looking forward to this. :D

Aloha,
Donna

That definitely needed to be said! The next FOTL controversy should be who gets to shake your hand first. (Will that be unlimited?)
It'll be a fantastic trip for all, especially you HRH guests. Really hoping ya'll don't have a big need for FOTL access a lot. It's a pretty good time of year to visit, fewer crowds! I doubt there will be anything for anyone to whine about. Besides, Barry looks to be a good size fellow & don't think he would tolerate any nonsense!

Whiners will have to watch Barney. :)

We will have to draw straws to see who gets to shake MG's hand first.

Sounds great ya'll :)!!!

A question please??? Does anyone have children?? If so what are the ages? My twelve year old daughter is asking. :)
Also, any word on float rider vouchers yet??
Thanks !
Sandy

I will be at all/most meets as well. I have signed up for a few already but like Molokai will wait till all is finalized before signing the rest. I just want to meet everyone and tour and enjoy the parks to the fullest! I am so excited. As most of you know we were just there in Dec. If it were not for Molokai's trip we would have waited a bit to return. This was the perfect opportunity for us to return. The plans thus far and the turnout of people hoping to attend is great! I hope many more people that will be there will come meet us too. Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier! Thank you again Barry for bringing it all together by planning the meets.
BTW...Barry I read that post about Donna throwing up in my direction on the coasters! Just remember I may turn green too...guess who I will make sure I am sitting next to? <IMG WIDTH="15" HEIGHT="15" SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz"> One good turn deserves another! :D
Sandy...I havent heard anything yet about the vouchers for the mardi gras floats...I am on the look out though! will keep you posted.

Meg,

I have a 10 year old and 3 year old son. The 10 year old's 'yuck' thought of girls I have noticed recently has begun to modify into more of a I might like a girl, but the thought of touching her hand or kissing her is yuck...lol

He is a true gentleboy, if you will, and if we do manage to come to this get together, I think him meeting any new youth his age would be great.

I too was just at USF last December (at PBH for two nights) and was persuaded to return for an encore much sooner than expected!! :D Molokai Gram is very persuasive, is she not?

Anyway, we are only there for two days, so I will try and attend as many meets as we can, but since I am traveling with my two sons (ages 10 & 11 - well almost 11 & 12 !) who knows what happens? You never know with kids, you know!!

My kids would love to meet other kids there, especially if they are ride/coaster enthusiasts & IAO/USF fans!

Travel Junkie - sounds like our kids have a good chance of seeing eye to eye.

Sandy - who knows - our kids are at that awkward age...prob a hit or miss situation. Both of my kids have friends that are girls. We can just see how they hit it off. Is your daughter friendly towards boys (younger boys)?

As to FOTL access - once a day, once a ride is fine by me. That way I'll try and do all the rides instead of staying and doing the same ones over again. The kids will have to use more creative means (single rider's lane, etc) to get in more rides in a row if that is what they want to do.

Looking forward to meeting all of you!! :D

Just read the huge discussion re FOTL! Bottom line: :D Yahoo !! :D Guess my kids and I won't be doing all those rides we've never gotten around to doing after all!

Don't know about signing up for any meets, but those times look like right before early entry, so we'll be around at both (and I'll look for lime green ribbons). We had ressies at Swan for the nights of Mar 10-18 but after reading about all of the advantages to staying on site, we changed the first two nights to HRH. And Sandy, we also have a 12 YO DD (B'day in August) who can't wait. She doesn't know, however, that we're staying at HRH. That'll be a surprise for when we get there. She does want to visit IOA first, because of our photo album. Our last trip two years ago happened about the time IOA was opening and that happened to be our first stop. Even before we checked into a hotel, we went to IOA. The first picture at IOA was in front of the sign "Let the Adventure Begin". She thinks this is a great beginning to our "WDW Vacation" photo album (And I agree), so she wants to start there again.

Question... do we wear lime green ribbons like the ones on the Disney Board??
Keith, that's great, my daughter will be thrilled!! (her b'day is August also :)She is so excited about the trip!! She is looking forward to meeting all the other kids!
Thanks!
Sandy

.bump.
