New addition to the DIS!!!! What a cool feature.

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new area to the DIS. The DIS Photo Gallery will allow our visitors to upload thier photos and share them with the rest of the site. The format is somewhat similar to the forums we use here, so everyone should find it very easy to use. There are some additional guidelines for the Photo Gallery (they are outlined when you register). Unfortunately, I was not able to attach the registration engine for the Photo Gallery to the forums registration engine, so you will have to register seperately to use that site. Each account is limited to 1MB of space for pictures (site sponsors receive 10MB, and should indicate in thier sponsor status in the Biography field during registration). Until we see just how popular this new area becomes, we will need to be fairly strict in enforcing the space limitations. If someone really needs extra space, they should email me directly at webmaster@wdwinfo.com

PatrickIL will be the admin for this new area, and will have expert help from our editros ABCMom, brisully, Debi, Glo, Marla Hellwig, Mary Jo, MrJCricket, obi-wan pinobi, snuggles, SueEllen and Trekker.

I have a question? In the rules it states that you can not link to the picture from another site. Does that include the DIS? Would it be okay to link to the picture from a post on this site? I don't want to break any of the rules or guidelines. Thanks.

Once you get to the page that shows all of the categories - in the blue section clear over to the right hand side - there is a line that says Upload Photos - click on that and it should work for you

I don't see it also. I've looked, reloaded the page, etc., and I can't find that upload portion on the page. Don't know what is going on.

everything I read leads me to believe link from the DIS is fine - just not from "other websites" - if I here anything different I will post - but for now I think you are safe.
