We recently purchased a resale contract several months ago at SSR with an October UY. We received our membership from DVC at that time.
We just added on a small contract at AKV directly through DVC. We received our papers by Federal Express the next day and there was a temporary DVC membership card. This number is completely different than our DVC membership previously provided when we purchased our original SSR contract.
I checked our contract online and our points are there, but it does show we have two separate memberships. It also shows we have two different UY. October for SSR and August for AKV.
Under the "Alerts" Section for our AKV contract it states, "You do not have any Vacation Points for Member ID number XXXXXXX available to bank at this time because your banking window is at 0%."
There is also an alert that states "This Use Year's remaining Vacation Points for Member ID number XXXXXXX will expire on the last business day of July 2010." These alerts for our "free" 2009 points we were given from Disney as their promotional package they are currently offering.
First, I am confused as to why we have two separate memberships.
Second, I am confused why we have to different use years.
Third, I am confused what I need to do about my 2009 points that were just given to me yesterday.
Fourth, I am just plain confused and hoping the experts can help me sort this out before I call my DVC guide.
