New 4 day ticket

You cannot use 2 "admissions" to go to 2 different parks in the same day, you would need a park hopper for that.
I can’t speak to the current offer, but the past two times they offered this special ticket, you actually could burn two admissions in a single day. It seemed to be a unique feature of this ticket.

You definitely CANNOT use two days on the same day.
On a regular ticket, you’re correct. However, if this is the same ticket that was available to DVC for $199 and then later to the general population for $279, then it does have that unique ability.

Supersnoop, please post if you learn any more about using two tickets (the 4 day one being offered) on one day at different parks. Thanks

New!Four-Park Magic Ticket

Beginning January 18, 2019, you can purchase a Four-Park Magic Ticket, good for select dates in 2019. This special ticket, available for a limited time, gets you one admission to each of the four main Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. No park hopping is allowed, and you can’t upgrade the ticket to go for more days. No credit or refund will be given for higher-priced tickets used on lower-priced dates. If you want to revisit a park on another day, you’ll have to buy another ticket. As with regular base tickets, you are allowed to leave a park and return to it the same day.

@katallo ~ Park hopping, using only 1 entitlement to enter more than 1 Park, is not the same as using an Admission-Entitlement to enter each park (more than 1 park) during the course of 1 day.

@supersnoop reported that more than 1 Admission-Entitlement could be used if a guest chose to enter a 2nd park after leaving the 1st park of the day.

We have a middle of March trip planned and our dates are right at the March cutoff. I know that this 4-pack is valid for an entire week so my question is, would we be able to use it also on the days right behind cutoff? Also, does anyone know if the first day ticket needs to be activated on the first day?
It would be nice to be able to save a little money...

I don't think the tickets will work for admission after the cutoff dates. The dates (I believe) are constructed around peak times, holidays and such and would work similar to blackout dates on annual passes.

I understand but let's say your vacation starts on March 13 and cut off is the 14th. Will Disney not allow you to buy the 4-pack because some of the dates will extend into the blackout?

They might not be able to stop the transaction because (in theory as noted above) you *could* potentially use two allotments to enter two different parks on the same day. So you could use all 4 entitlements in two days if you did a half day in each park.

Does anyone know how this situation has been handled during similar past promotions? Thanks!
I don't want to end up with two sets of tickets but don't want to wait too long to find out how this works because I'll miss the 60-day fastpass advantage.
