New 2006 charts...

When do we normally get 2006 / 2007 charts? I'm looking for 2006 DL seasons, along with WDW charts...

2006 charts are in your current guidebook, and the points for trades like the Disney collection and concierge etc, wont come out for 2007 for awhile, because they probably have not been negotiated with those resorts yet.

Ya, I was wondering about the 2006 charts for the Disney Collection. When do we usually get new planners? Isn't it in the summer?

I think it is usually toward fall. I'm sure they probably need to finish those negotiations yet. I believe each Disney resort negotiates seperately with DVC.

FYI - I just called MS to see if the Alaska cruise points are out yet. They are not. MS told me that they were put into the system in July last year.

Only the Cruise Line 2006 charts are on the website. The WDW non-DVC resorts are not there and neither are those for Disneyland Resort Paris or California.

Oops! Sorry! I saw 2006 and Disney COllection. I did not notice that it was only cruises. Bummer.

I'm still quite sure the Disney resorts don't negotiate the points prices with DVC this early in the year. They have to know a bit about their projected occupancy before they do that.

If you want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel (instead of Paradise Pier or Grand Californian), the CM I talked to in MS said the point chart that is currently listed is good through 12/31/06. I have no idea about the other two properties.

On a side note, we were considering using points for a DLH stay in early December but when checking Expedia found they had a special running where you got the 4th night free...it worked out to an average price of $168/night. We have decided to rent out enough points to get the cash ressie instead.
