New '10% off tickets' offer

Theme Park Holidays are offering 10% off the price of all their tickets for Orlando, if you book before December 24 (plus free travel insurance, if that's any use to you!).

That means a family of four would save £111.40 on a 5-Day Park Hopper Plus and a 4-Park FlexTicket (normally £185 adult/£148 child and £125/£99).

Managing director Tom Allen explained: "Most people wait until after Xmas to book their 2003 holiday, which makes January jam-packed and very busy in travel agents and on call centre phones. We are making this offer to persuade people to make that booking before Christmas. They get the advantage of a great price deal and we get the advantage of spreading our work peaks more evenly. Like all great deals, it works for everyone."

Well spotted, Kazzie. That will teach me to read press releases properly!

Yes, the cheap tickets are valid only if you book a full Orlando package through Theme Park Holidays. Their lead-in price is £389 for a week at the Travelodge International Drive with Virgin in January (which still strikes me as a good deal - but it's not the straightforward ticket deal which I thought it was ).
