BUT....I *might* be going to Ft Myers for a long weekend to see my aunt & uncle, and since they're only 2 1/2 hours from Orlando, we may have to drive to Disney at least a day. So it may work out that I still get there on or around my birthday!!

Hi Folks!

Just a quick update now - I hope to do a larger update in a day or so. We had a BIG event in my family this week. My new niece, Faith Katharine Miller, was born on Thursday evening. She's named after me and I couldn't be more thrilled. Of course I cried when I found out.

Here are some pictures of the new baby and her new family. I am biased but I think she's pretty perfect.

Question: What's better than actually taking a Disney trip?

Answer: Shopping for one!! (Any men in the audience, here's where you hang your heads and shake them, exasperated.)

Like many other DISers, who I won't name (but her user name rhymes with SigdWoutMisDom) I love me some Vera Bradley bags. They're durable, they last forever, and gosh darn it, they're cute. (Men, you've been warned. "Cute" is a staple of this PTR.)

I follow VB on Facebook and the other day, they announced a new Traveler Bag. Mama likee. Mama must have. So now it's just to decide the pattern. I really like this one, as I have a few other luggage pieces and they could all match. Isn't that precious?

Here it is, both the inside and outside. They say that it's also carry on size so it would be GREAT for shorter weekend trips or say, to pack extra souvenirs that might not have made it into your other bags. Ahem. Not that that ever happens.

Thoughts?? Isn't it cute?! (There's that "cute" that I promised you!!)

I promise we'll get to the important stuff of where I'm staying, what I'm buying and most importantly, what I'll be eating.

Yes, VB is a sickness from which there is no cure. I decided if I get a new one, I sell or give away another that I no longer use. Otherwise, my closets would be taken over!!!
