Hey everyone!

So November was a CRAZY month. Between a few trips to Chicago and getting ready for Thanksgiving, things were WILD. But now, hopefully, it's quieted down and I can pretty much coast until Christmas.

The other day I looked at my calendar -- and realized I only have 5 weeks until I leave. FIVE!! WOW!! That is going to go SO FAST. Luckily, I have pretty much everything taken care of. I only have a few Christmas gifts I haven't picked up (and I know what I am getting) and packing will be a breeze.

The group I am traveling with are picky eaters (their description, not mine) and so we decided that counter service would be the best. Everyone can get what they want and no one's unhappy. However, they did want to try Le Cellier and Rose and Crown, so we are doing both of those for lunch during the week! Elizabeth and I talked about the pretzel bread and cheese soup during Thanksgiving so we were getting amped up for that!!

My flight has been made, my 2 nights at the Poly booked and so I am sitting really good right now!! I would like to lose a few more lbs before I leave but I don't know if thats going to happen. Oh well! I'll try and we'll see what happens.

I am thinking I want to get a "thank you" gift for Elizabeth's parents, since they refused my offer of helping to pay for the OKW villa. What are your suggestions? I haven't spent enough time with them to know if they drink (otherwise I would do a wine and cheese basket) or what their interests are. Do you think a Disney gift card would be appropriate? Or would it be a better idea to pay for a few meals while we're together? What are your thoughts?

Time is going to fly with Christmas in there! It always seems to zip right by and before we know it we are in January. But that's a GOOD thing when you are waiting for a Disney trip!

As for the gift to the family, I think paying for a meal would be a very nice gesture.

Meal or gift card is a great idea. My GF's took me out to dinner during the HHI trip and it was such a nice gesture. I really appreciated it.

A month from now, I'll be at WDW!!!

Yes, today begins the countdown. My plans are coming together nicely. I talked to my aunt this week and our wait list for Saratoga came through for Friday night. So our official hotels are:

February 6th: Saratoga
February 7th: Boardwalk
February 8th - 13th: Old Key West
February 14th-15th: Polynesian

WOO HOO!!

This month is going to be busy at work, home, Christmas, etc so January 6th will be here before I know it!! I also had some good news at work today - one of my larger clients settled the rest of their invoices, so you know what that means - - more $$ for Disney!! Yeah!! I do have to remind myself, however, that I am getting rid of things at my house so I don't become one of those people on Hoarders. So I will be bringing back a few things, but I have to watch myself.

I also made a decision on moving houses. I might have mentioned to some of you that I was considering moving to a new house, within my same town. I have been praying about it and I really think that it's best for me to stay put. There are things I don't love about this place (2nd floor condo, no attached garage, no 2nd bathroom) but my mortgage is super-affordable AND I'm in a nice part of town. My neighbors are all very nice and so I am going to hold off on moving. A move would mean more $$ out the door each month, and I would rather do other things with it. So January 2012 will instead commence The Great Home Re-Do of 2012, as I upgrade my current space instead. I'm going to do some new counters and sinks, a new bed, new bedroom set, that sort of thing. It'll be much cheaper than moving and it'll liven up my place. Plus, in 2012 I am going to buy DVC so I would rather have the money to travel.

Thanks, I'm very excited. I plan on buying a small resale contract to start off, and add on from there. This year I turn 30, and I have a few goals as I go into my next decade. DVC is one of those.

The "Four Weeks From Today I Will Be in WDW!" Game!!!

If we're getting really techincal, 4 weeks from this exact moment I will be in an airplane, flying from Minneapolis to Orlando!!

When I land, I will get on the most Magical of transportation, and I will then make my way to the first hotel of the trip, Saratoga Springs! Our wait list came through for here, so we'll head there first!!

My aunt and uncle will arrive approximately when I do, and then I would imagine we would head to Downtown Disney to do some shopping. I will also pick up my Annual Pass as well! WOO HOO!!

What are you all doing this weekend? I am laying low (other than 1 meeting) and staying close to home. I am on Day 5 of a bad cold and I would LOVE to stop sneezing and blowing my nose 1000 times. So I will be staying home, watching movies and generally being lazy.
