We are staying at the Poly this October and thinking about making a reservation at the Neverland Club for my 5 year old DS one evening. Besides it giving us an adult evening I think he'd really enjoy it. He is not shy and loves to be around other kids (and happens to love Peter Pan). Was wondering what experiences your kids have had there and also what the adults used the evening without the kids to do- other than dinner, looking for something else. Thanks!

My DD (she is 8 now) LOVES the kid's clubs at WDW! She has stayed at the Cub's Den (WL) three time, Simba's (AKL) twice, Camp Dolphin twice and the Sandcastle club once. She has never stayed at Neverland, but from what I hear that is the nicest/best one. She is an only child, very outgoing and loves to hang out with other kids. She always BEGS to stay at the kid's clubs, and heck, if they didn't cost $10 or $11 an hour, we would put her in there every night! (LOL, J/K...but hey, it's a thought!)

We always feel most comfortable when we are nearby. Once we went to Cirque Du Soleil while she was at the Cub's Den, and twice we have gone to PftS at Epcot while she was at Sandcastle Club (that is very nearby, at Y&BC)) Other than that, we usually have leisurely drinks at the lounge, a nice dinner, and maybe a little "mommy and daddy alone time!"

From your description of your son, I am sure he will ove the club and you can have fun guilt free!

My DD LOVES the Neverland Club! For her, it isn't a trip to Disney World unless she's had the chance to go there at least twice. She went twice in December when we stayed at the Poly and twice in April when we stayed at the POFQ. Not only did she still love it, the CM's remembered her from December! She always makes friends with the kids who are there that evening and it's the highlight of her trip.

I usually drop her off so I can have time to myself at the parks or go for a spa treatment and quiet solo dinner.

We're staying at the Poly next month and this time my DD and her cousin (h'e s8) are going to the Neverland Club twice during our stay. He gets excited each time my DD tells him all the 'cool' stuff he can do there.

Sadly my 2 DS's are now too big for the Neverland Club (well the oldest one is anyway) but when they used to go they loved it and didn't want to leave when we'd come to pick them up.

:sad2: I feel for ya. I am not looking forward to the day that DD is too old for the clubs. Of course for the obvious reason...there will be no more "alone time" for mommy and daddy during family WDW trips (because she will still be too young to stay alone) but also because *sob* I don't want her to grow up!:sad1:

Is there a good age range at the club? My 8 yr old nephew is NOT goingto be happy if he gets there and it is only a bunch of "babies" (4-6 yr olds to him!) We have it booked for Weds Aug. 29th.

Usually there is a good range in ages of the kids at the club. I haven't seen just all 4 year olds or even just all 10 year olds. :goodvibes
