We have always used a towncar service, but it is just going to be my DD and I and we are trying to do this on the cheap, so I thought we would try ME.
So we land at 9:55 pm and are going to the pop. We will just have carry-ons. So, we walk to an intake desk and get on? I have been reading about 70 min give or take 20, would y'all agree that sound about right. for tha time of night? And finally how do you get your return time? Do they tell you when you get off? do you have to talk to your concierge?
Thanks ahead of time guys!!

I have the same question; I'm going to Pop and I dont' arrive until 11:30 p.m. at night. Am I going to be waiting FOREVER for a bus? Should I just be prepared for a nap in the airport?

And finally how do you get your return time? Do they tell you when you get off? do you have to talk to your concierge?

I believe they told us at the very beginning of our last trip, and then called us and told us too. You can always ask; they gave a lot of instructions on that check in day, and a lot of stuff in the folder as well!

I've never arrived that late at night so I have no idea if the 70-90 minute timeframe is accurate. It could be much less, depending on how they run the busses.

Head down to terminal B and check in at the ME desk. You're then directed to the ME waiting area where they are seperate lines depending on your resort. With Pop being right off of the main highway, I would imagine that would be one of the first stops if they have one bus for multiple resorts.

The day before? morning of? your departure, there will be an envelope hanging on your door handle letting you know what your ME departure time is (plan on 3 hrs before your flight time). You'll get on the ME bus right outside of the main building.

FYI - if you change your mind and decide to check luggage, you'll need to grab your luggage before you head to the ME check-in desk. This is for flights arriving between 10pm and 5am, I believe.

Hope this helps!

You will receive a envelope the day before on your room door. We used to do towncar after doing ME i find no reason to ever do it again. Its very convinent. The longest wait we have ever encountered is 45 minutes. Its a nice comfortable ride. With a nice video ride to keep the Disney feel! Hope you enjoy it.

Just get off the plane, and head to Side B, level 1. When you get to the DME area, all the way to the end, you will just show the CM your vouchers, and you will be directed to the appropriate bus line.
Pop is usually on the bus with those heading to CSR (or maybe it was CBR) and AKL. When Pop is the first stop, which is 'usually' is, the time is right around an hour.
Here's a breakdown...
15 mins from gate to DME area
0-20 min wait for the bus
0-20 min wait on the bus
30-45 min ride to your resort...depends on which stop you are.

Usually, it will take about 70 mins average...longest time I had was at POP...but we were the last stop that time, and we spent about 10 mins at the first two resorts to allow for a huge number of bags to be off loaded.

No way of telling how many buses there will be running at that time....could be a very short wait, but it could conveivably be longer than usual.

Your return time to MCO will be about 3 hrs before your flight departure time...be prepared to be out at the DME stop about 15 mins before the time you are given. The time given is the time the bus is supposed to depart from the resort, not the time you should start heading to the stop. You will get a notification in your room the day before you checkout that tells you what your pickup time is.
