Kids ran a low fever friday night and saturday during the day(less than 100). DH was laying around saying he felt dizzy and had a low fever on saturday. All of us had a tickle in our throats which made us cough.

Last night the tickle disappeared and whatever has moved to my head. All stuffed up and my nose is a constant drip (would give Niagara falls a run for the money). Not 5 seconds before I have to use a kleenex.

Gave the kids a bath, stuck them in bed with a movie, Took a hot shower, chugged down a bunch of Nyquil (couldn't find the whiskey) and called DH who is on his way home from the poconos to tell him not to wake me to ask me to ask me what the strings from each nostril are from :rolleyes1 (best friend suggested it and I about desperate enough to try it)

Other than the nose no other problems. (knock on wood)

Sorry to hear that, hope you are all feeling better soon. We've had kids sick at WDW in the past and it can ruin the vacation. Had to take our daughter to the urgent care center at midnight once to get a new antibiotic to fight off a nasty infection and fever of 104. She did get lots of attention from the EMTs and police who came in though, and everyone was great to us.

Get well soon and let us know how the home remedy works.

Well the Nyquil stopped the running nose. However the result was not being able to get air in or out of the nose.
DH arrived home and could hear me snoring from downstairs.

DS woke up several times, yelling out and saying his ears hurt. So DH put DS in bed with me and he went to sleep in his bed. DD was coughing alot. DH slept through everything. So after my initial pass out from the Nyquil, didn't get to much sleep going back and forth checking on them.

DS refused to get out of bed this morning, was running a 102 temp. DD had 99.6. Called the Doctor office they could not get us in until 2 this afternoon.
DS is in the process of getting a double ear infection. Nothing but congestion for DD. Asked about the possibility of swine flu (including myself) doctor said nope. (one good thing)
Put both the kids on an antibiotic for the next 10 days. Told me to drink lots of fluid and get some rest.

Poor DS's little body must hurt everywhere. He wants me to carry him everywhere, and when I pick him up he whines. Doesn't want food, been trying to get fluids and ice pops in him all day.
