never mind..... for some reason thought I could get an actual answer, hahaha silly me....

That is a question for either the closing company or the broker you hired to sell the contract.

Best wishes -

Was there a question?
OP originally posted that the contract he/she was selling was no longer listed on the DVC member website and so was wondering when she/he would get her check.

Best wishes -

I first came to these boards in June 2005 to learn all about DVC so I could decide whether or not to become a member. I quickly realized that one of the best sources of information on these boards is CarolMN. For several months I read every post she made here and in so doing, I got a great DVC education. She is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people on these boards and she takes the time to provide clear and complete responses.

You are apparently unhappy with the advice she gave you, but frankly, I don't see how anyone on these boards could have provided you with anything more than speculation about how long after closing you can expect to receive your check. When there is money involved, I think it's best to talk to the people in control of the transaction. You pay a commission to the broker who sells your timeshare and part of what you are paying for is to be kept informed. Give your broker a call (or call your contact at the closing company) and ask them where you are in the process and when you can expect to receive your check.

Good luck!
