Ok all you WDW super planners who wants to plan our itinerary. :cool1:

I'm only 1/2 kidding! DS and I leave for Palm Beach on Sunday and then meet DH in Orlando on Thursday and I've got nothing planned. That means we've got 5 days! :earseek:

It'll be DH, DS, my dad and I. My dad is getting us park tickets for Christmas so we've got 3 days hoppers (I think).

On Thursday we'll be checked into the hotel by 4:30. We are staying at one of the DTD hotels. Not 100% on which one. My dad booked it w/points. I'm a little scared but it's free so I can't complain!

The only other limitation is that DH will have to do his show Sunday morning so we will be occupied until noon or 1 if he has to go to a studio downtown.

This is our 3rd trip this year so I'm looking for creativity. I really don't have time to get things together. I shouldn't even be dis-ing. I need to finishing holiday decorating before we leave because we only have 1 day of turnaround time before the inlaws come for 2 weeks. :faint:

So put your best plans together :rotfl: I'll do the booking etc and then let you know how everything was!

Game on :cheer2:

wow, I really thought some of the people who are 'sad' that they don't have trips to plan would be interested in a little fun.

guess not...

oh ok, i'll play.......

First of all if youre staying on DVC points, youre probably at SSR, maybe OKW. Both are wonderful.

Im not sure which days you are going to be there. Thursday to Monday, Tuesday?

I would do epcot on Sunday. Start in the WS when you get there. Most people start in FW when it opens and dont get back to the WS til mid afternoon. You can breeze through the WS early, after DH's meeting and then hit FW later in the day.

Saturday MK is probably open late, so I would go to the AK first and then hop over to MK for the rest of the day.

Do MGM on the extra day and split with MK early or late depending on the hours.

Hit some of the resorts on your no park days and enjoy all the holiday decorations. Done the HDDR yet? try that. we love it.

That's a lot of work to ask people, in all honesty. You don't even have an idea.... you are just looking for someone here to "thrill" you with a plan. Like people have nothing else better to do than to plan your WDW vacation. I could see posting a plan and asking for advice but you don't even have that.

There are people that do that kind of thing, they are called Travel consultants, and they usually get paid $50 to 75 for an intial consultation fee. Or you can pay for concierge level, the IPO planner will do this for you...a level higher and you have Executive reservations doing this kind of thing for you as well.

There is no such thing as half kidding either.

Stacy, I much appriciate your thoughts. We haven't done HDDR in years and while I don't think I'll be able to get it for next week I will try. Visiting the resorts is also a great idea and one I hadn't thought of at all. We'll try that Thursday night (maybe dinner at a different resort) and maybe we'll check out the Epcot area hotel while DH is working at the Boardwalk on Sunday morning.

Sounds like a great plan. Thank you again.

Wow, just trying to have a little fun.

I was just hoping that people posted a few of their more creative ideas so we could try something new. I wasn't expecting people to contact WDW and plan reservations for me.

And I thought the CB was tough. Heading back there now.....

Bad idea on my part...mods please close.

Normally, I would be all over this one, but with my own trip rapidly approaching, I just don't have the time to devote to hammering out an itinerary for you. I love itinerary planning and I have offered my opinions to others on the boards free of charge many many times. I am sorry that I can't help you because I love a good challenge usually. I wish you lots of luck in trying to get everything planned. I hope you have a great trip. Maggie

PS. Don't let the turkey's get ya' down!

Wow, I don't think that you asked anything wrong at all!!! A person can either reply or not to a thread, read it or not read it. I know what you're dealing with. Last year I went 4 times and I was sick and tired of planning. It's not that I didn't want to go on the trips, but working out all the details took a lot out of me. I had 4 very different trips--one with my son and sister, another with only my DH, another with my sister and my son and also with my 81yo mom for her first visit and the last with another son. Whew, it was exhausting albeit fun.

I'm going in January with my DD and I'm trying to make plans so we can have some ADR's, but it's not happening easily.

I have decided on which parks we'll go to on 5 out of the 7 days and will leave 2 days open. Working on those ADR's.

Just wanted you to know that you did nothing wrong posting this!

The OP correctly asked for help rather than opinions regarding her request for help. I am sorry to see the request has been made to close the thread, though I certainly understand why.

Closing at OP's request.
