I have a Samsung GO Netbook. We are traveling to Quebec in April and I would like to be able to watch some movies, listen to music, upload pictures and video, etc. while we are there. I bought a Clickfree External Backup drive. Itunes is installed on the netbook but I have not added any music or movies because of the shortage of storage space.

If I backup Itunes from one of our other computers onto the Clickfree will I be able to attach it to the netbook and access the music and movies in it and play them on the Itunes I have loaded on the netbook?

I hope I have made the question understandable.

Thanks,

Penny

I've been looking into moving my iTunes to an external drive due to space requirements as well. I found the link below, but I haven't yet had an opportunity to try it.... but it looks like it can be done! It doesn't appear to delete the original copy of iTunes on the original computer (that is a separate step) so you can have it on both your original computer and the external drive. There is a step to get the itunes on your netbook to connect with the files on your external drive.

Thanks LauraC. I am one of those people who knows just enough to get myself into trouble. I know what I would like to do and I'm sure there is a way to do it, I just am not sure how to do it. This article is a big help.

Thanks again,

Penny
