Nervous - what if you can't pay balance at 45 day deadline?

We have a third of the balance for our October trip paid. We were planning on using my husband's bonus check to pay the rest. He was originally told he'd get the check on August 1st. Well, now they say the check will be deposited on August 31st.

We called disney tonight and the guy said just to wait until they contact us, but I'm afraid they're going to cancel our reservation!

Does anyone know what happens if you miss the deadline? Our deadline is August 18th.

You will get a "past due" email that states your reservation will cancel on the 30 day mark if not paid by then.

Disney can extend the payment by a week. they will cancel by the 30 day mark.

Disney is having problems getting bodies into the rooms. If you let them know you will pay on the 31st I'm sure they will give you the benefit of the doubt.
