Nemo?

Can anybody elaborate on the Nemo "meet and greet" at Epcot? My 3 year old is OBSESSED with Nemo, and if we could meet him when we go next week, he'd be thrilled.

Is it just a display with a metal Nemo outside the Living Seas, or is it a person dressed up as Nemo? We will of course ask at Guest Relations when we get there, to make sure we are there at the right time, but I don't want to build up "let's go say hi to Nemo" if Nemo can't waggle his fin back!

When we were there in May dd 4 had to find Nemo also....the metal sculpture is cool great for pictures but the Nemo we saw was not a person more like a large remote control Nemo. Once she saw him she did not want to do much more than watch

He is different from all other characters - he is something like a small remote-controlled parade float. He rolls around the area, and his fins do move back and forth, and (I think) also his eyes. There definately is a castmember controling Nemo, making him respond to the people who come up to him, so Nemo certainly is "interactive" though he can't do alot. It is very cute to watch him meet with people.

I met Nemo and definately thought he was worth a visit!

There were also 2 "coral" people. People on stilts that looked like a coral reef w/ all kinds of colorfuls things on them. My 17mo son likd them alot. They came up to us and tickled his face w/ their leafy hands.

Now I know what to look for and what to prepare my son for, i.e., that Nemo can't talk to him, but he'll wiggle his fin to say hello.

Note that Nemo isn't out-and-about the entire day. If you're having trouble finding him, stop by Guest Services and they should be able to provide you with the daily performance schedule.
