Needing to find Monkey Island 2, help me please!

I need help. My kids love to play the Monkey Island games for the PC. They have all of them except Le Chuck's Revenge (or Monkey Island 2). Both kids have requested I find this game for them for Christmas. It need not be new. A used version is fine.

I am having a devil of a time running it down. Anyone know where I could buy a copy or know of another place to search? I've tried Ebay (they only have the whole set) and and several used game stores.

Never heard of this and now I am curious. What is this game and for what age group?

These games are appropriate for teens or adults. They are adventure games with puzzles to solve. Not much violence (if any).

My kids and my husband have had fun with #1, 3 and 4. Now they want to do #2, but it's an older game and we can't seem to find it.

Sounds like Super Monkey Ball for the GameCube are they the same things?

I don't think so. These are made by Lucas Arts and the latest one out is for the PS2. The others were just for the PC.

We've got them all. Each Christmas, we bought the next game in the series and my children and I played them as a family activity. I believe that Monkey Island 2 might have been the one that has a clock tower in the town square that shows the ACTUAL time. And there's one scene where you talk to some guy on a beach and, if it's a holiday, he'll say something like "Oh, and have a Happy New Year".

When I bought one of the newer Monkey Islands, I believe that they included a CD for an earlier version. I'll check when I get home.

I can't believe this is so hard for me to find! They really are fun games. Well, maybe that is why they are hard to find. No one wants to turn loose when they finish the game? Surely, someplace has a used one I could buy.

I'm still looking. We seem to have CDs all over the house. Do your kids own Monkey Island 3 (The Curse of Monkey Island)? If they do, then they should have a CD that has Monkey Islands 1 and 2 that came with MI3.

Monkey Island 2 appears to also have been included in LucasArts Archives Volume III.

I am leaving for WDW in a couple of days and won't be back until December 16th. I will continue to look for our copy of Monkey Island until I leave on Saturday morning.

We have Monkey Island 3, but it didn't come with 1 & 2. Somehow we went straight from 1 to 3. Thanks for looking. I'll continue my search, too.
